  1. I bought the Walmart Throne of Atlantis version today. Looked more interesting than I thought.
  2. It's been in the top 3 of trending topics of Facebook all day too. These Marvel characters are more popular then we think. You alright with all that snow today? (one of the other top topics) I survived the Blizzard of 2015. Got close to three feet of snow. Wind-chill below zero now. How about you? (thumbs u 18 inches in New Boston (Nashua got 30). It's 8 degrees and dropping up here. The wind really picked now.

  5. OK, does FOX own She Hulk. Love me an athletic woman.
  6. Nothing on their Facebook page either? Oh Britney, Britney.
  7. Hey, my "Walking Deadpool List Thread" was well intentioned and immediately lost in the chaos.
  8. I've always thought young brunette Kate looked a bit too much like Jessica Simpson. She was the spitting image of her in the Walberg vehicle Shooter. Nice to see Mara return to her superhero roots (Zoom).
  9. He can be a pretty good lead actor. He did fine work in The Spectacular Now with Shailene Woodley. Oddly, he played her main rival in Divergent right after. But her lover in "The Fault in our Stars" played her brother in Divergent. It begs the question, will Shailene Woodley appear in this movie?
  10. I agree with you Tim Daly was the best voice talent of Superman when animated. He did do the voice again for Justice League: Doom (Conroy returned for Batman too) and really stood out when he was trying to talk a jumper down without using his powers. Other than The Flashpoint Paradox, the new 52 team movies have left little impact with me. It's why I'm gonna drag my feet picking up Throne of Atlantis, that and the blizzard going on up here.
  11. Beware the "family" aspect of a trailer (see Batman & Robin's trailer from '97).
  12. Ghost Protocol was really good. The building climb scene was pretty wild. Though you would think if someone was climbing outside of the building, people looking outside their windows would call down to report something odd. Maybe the people down below too if they could see that high. But, I figured it was just a bunch of empty suites in that building or ones occupied by shady criminals stealing secrets and codes too.
  13. I agree, I thought the Jack Reacher film was awesome. Everybody I know (including myself) enjoyed Ghost Protocol. Wasn't it directed by the guy who did The Incredibles?
  14. Yup. I saw that one on my Superman Animated Series: Volume Two DVD set. It was broken up in three episodes. Great stuff. I'll add it to the list. I also enjoyed Season 3's "Knight Time", where Superman teamed up with Robin (dressed as Batman) to find the missing Bruce Wayne. Funny parts where he has to act all pompous around Commissioner Gordon and his very brief fight against Bane.
  15. I'll pass on that one at first, to read some reviews. I'm looking forward to getting Under The Hood, Subzero and Arkham Asylum (Walmart edition) next. If I see Return of the Joker, I'll consider that too. I was watching some of Doomsday earlier. That moment when Lois (voiced by Anne Heche) comes up to Ma Kent's place after Superman gets killed and tells her she knew Clark was Superman and how much it felt to be loved by him was some pretty great emotional acting that is sorely missing in the live-action movies. My Co-directed by Lauren Montgomery.
  16. Just finished the DC Showcase short "Green Arrow" on the special edition of Superman/Batman: Apocalpyse. Green Arrow has to save another kind of "queen" from assassins at an airport and she is only 10 years old. Great action as it goes all Die Harder on conveyor belts for luggage. Clocks a little over 10 minutes. Recommended.
  17. Thanks for pointing this out. I had no idea. I guess this was before the big excitement over Harley compared to now. I have an extra complete series.
  18. I am optimistic. Me too. After a week up here in New England hearing about the Patriots are cheaters from the press, it gets really old watching various news source parasites trying to make a name for themselves. Being a huge movie, I have no doubt FOX would have fired the director if things were looking bad right off. Look how they stop a TV series. Granted, there has been some pretty bad FOX sequels/reboots (the last Die Hard, AVP: Requiem, Speed 2, etc), but I felt this movie was an "experiment" from day one to change the format of funnybook movies, they way they pitched it. So, I go on the record also, this movie might not suck as bad as you guys are making it out to.
  19. Wasn't Harley in Arrow Season 2 too? I have both seasons, but haven't started watching them yet.
  20. But remember how troubled the Charlie's Angels reboot sounded like in 2000. Just sayin'.
  21. Yeah, I watched Batman: Gotham Knight 10 years ago and cannot remember it whatsoever, Mask of Phantasm either. Since last year, I have been slowly catching up with the ones I haven't seen yet, but I plan to revisit the others. You have me intrigued with Subzero now and Under The Hood will be next too. (thumbs u
  22. Just finished Justice League: Doom. Although some great behind the scenes talent went into this one, it still felt empty in places, like JL: War and JLA: Trapped in Time. A pretty weak James Bond-esque climax also. My ever-changing list of DC animated movies, so far. 1. Superman/Batman: Apocalypse***1/2 2. Superman/Batman: Public Enemies***1/2 3. All-Star Superman***1/2 4. Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox***1/2 5. Wonder Woman*** 6. Son of Batman*** 7. Batman: Year One*** 8. Superman: Doomsday*** 9. Superman Unbound*** 10. Green Lantern: First Flight*** 11. Green Lantern: Emerald Knights**1/2 12. Justice League: Doom** 13. Justice League: War*1/2 14: JLA Adventures: Trapped In Time*1/2 Honorable Mention: The Lego Movie***
