  1. my cats are my best friends.I hear you. In the box Jeffro sent me! You're good people, Jimmers! Salem working overtime in the shipping department. ...and on my sales threads. Living in a comic-heavy household was nothing to crow about afterall.
  2. A little piece of me died, when I lost Salem to Jen. I bawl my eyes out everytime I watch "As Good As It Gets" when Jack Nicholson is playing the piano after losing the dog when Simon got better. "...Over a dog!" "Over a cat!"
  3. I think that would haunt me for the rest of my life. Now I get it more than ever, though the unnecessary death of a loved one is never easy. If I was a catalyst for where they were when it happened, it would be overwhelming. It's changed how I'm gonna look at the property (grahic novel & movie)now, also. Utterly heartbreaking.
  4. Yeah, they REALLY pinned their hopes on that being the title that gave them a jump start. They gave away 10% of the print run then? That's a lot of sweaty and greasy palms ruining those black back covers upon handling. No wonder 9.8's are so rare.
  5. ...and thanks to you for letting me get such a wonderfully conditioned and economically-priced 'Tame' copy.
  6. You said that today at 2:17 PM I told you who had three Chew #1 10's at 2:43. You can call me a child all you want. Terms are terms, and you're trying to change them. Now you say Branget doesn't own the Blue Label Chew #1 First Print CGC 10. But he owns at least three Chew #1 10's that he'll admit to. Now you can be a MAN and send $25 to the Comic Book Legal Defence Fund as I have requested (you don't even have to put it in my name). please show proof of payment. You guys had me going for a second there. I just re-read everything and just realized this must be an elaborate prank. It reminded me of the Joe Pesci "Why am I so funny?" scene in Goodfellas and Ray Liotta finally calls him on it, "Git da *spoon* out of here!".
  7. Well, the walking dead mega set has been broken up. You'd certainly have to be in the running. They really love the extras too (all scans present, OA instead of back covers to pimp the set out, write up on each, etc). there's a lot of 9.9s and 10s in there.
  8. Ummmm... errrrr.... Joe Hill for Locke & Key.
  9. Just thought I would check out your registry set, let me know if you ever un-obscure it (thumbs u Me too. The Registry Awards are just around the corner. I would really like to make a run at an award with my Y set this year. If everything goes like I hope I will unobscure the set shortly after ECC. PM me anytime.

  11. Well thanks. Can't claim all the credit but a good chunk. You too can be like Doug. Pick a title. Still saying "Best Presented" is where it's at. You add a piece of your soul to your title's Registry Set. Although, I not interested in doing one ever again, I will always encourage others to try.
  12. Just preference probably. I have considered blocking out mine in any future listings just because. Aren't you able to see who the owner is with the cert #? I don't think so. I just checked on a certification number and nowhere does it show a specific person. CGC doesn't keep track of who owns a particular book. Exactly. So why did he cross out the certification number? I think he/she probably blocked it out because, so someone didn't just take the number to add to the Registry before buying the book.
  13. It was right off at #1 that made me love the series. By #3, I was sure this series could do no wrong.
