  1. Alright, alright. Please disperse. Please disperse. There is nothing for you to see here...
  2. Pats rule! Once we The Gronk back, Mr. Brady will be flashing his 4th Superbowl ring.
  3. I never thought I would ever live long enough to see a "die cut cover swipe".
  4. At least try #3. Izzy is a really funny yet "human" character to join the lovers on the lam. ...and #4 really gets things going in the emotion department.
  5. I suspect you're doing pretty well do you have snow yet? We had a few inches the other day. But, now it's frigid in temperature. My pond out back has been frozen for weeks. But, it's supposed to warm up next week. Gotta love those last couple Pats games, huh?
  6. The Walking Dead Dr. Feelgood in da house! Jeff
  7. Now I want to buy one in dre's thread. Been too long since a new book made me want to get a slabbed copy. I'm afraid to read revival 1 because I see that happening with that title too. Saga #1
  8. Multiple printings. Just saying. i love multiple printings as they are generally available for less then (or equal to) cover price and for the most part, are "rarer" then the 1wst prints Not bashing either. I have one title where the artist tweaks her own art inside with each printing. Kinda makes them uniquely desirable.
  9. Multiple printings. Just saying.
  10. Which is very important why you have to do your homework. I saw retailers on eBay and abroad claim Locke & Key first appeared in Angel: After The Fall #3, Speed Racer #1 and the Doctor Who #1 relaunch, not realizing it actually appeared weeks earlier in under ordered books that barely broke 2K (Doctor Who Classics #2, Cory Doctorow #4, Snaked #2, Zipper #3, Badger #2, etc.). These are basically books they didn't order and didn't even know existed. Another cool thing that can help re-educate buyers is if the preview has different art than the finished book, misspelled words or a low print run. Study those panels.
  11. I think I am just collecting the first prints because there are way too many variants and this is coming from a WD collector Yeah, I was considering going all out on this book because some of the variants have really great covers but in all honesty there are just too many of them now. Larry Alone has manufactored 7 variants for the first 6 issues It's where I'm at now too.
  12. It's why I sat on Locke & Key's first appearance book for actually years. I wasn't because I was worried the premium would go up (I had something like 20 Doctor Who Classics #2 hoarded since a week after buying my first L&K slab). I just wasn't sure with the high volume of preview books to it (14 books, 26 or something actually because of the variant factor). Once I was sure it was the one, I released the imformation as soon as I could in the L&K thread and watched a dollar book sell for a minor premium here and there (I actually gave away six raws for free in a thread too. I'm not a good speculator ). To this day no one has proven me wrong on it, but I included facts (release dates) too from a lot of hard work researching.
  13. Want to buy this for me for christmas? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Walking-Dead-ORIGINAL-ART-Issue-27-Page-19-1st-App-The-GOVERNOR-Kirkman-Adlard-/370697123774?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item564f4537be 0000OOOOooooo, $100 in eBay bucks.
  14. Nope. That would be equivalent to a 'wristslap' from the TMNT fans. The punishment you'll probably receive is being made to listen to Vanilla Ice's "Ninja Rap" in an endless loop.
  15. Manners Manners... Has anyone even welcomed Bree to the boards yet? WTTB Bree Alroight Then. Carry on.
  16. And 3rd and 4th and 5th.... ...and 'Special Edition' and '$1 Edition' and 'FCBD Edition' and 'Scriptbook'. Do they still make scriptbooks?
  17. It has been sheer bedlam in this thread lately.
