  1. Awesome right down to her mismatched socks! It's the best TWD tat I've ever seen.
  2. It defeats the actual purpose of a CGC Witness to actually "witness" the John Hancock for authenticity.
  3. I heard the best safe haven in Canada would be on Branget's sweet leather couch. Just build up a fort around that thing and you have nothing to ever worry about. New Hampshire. Strategically, you can 'corral" the herds in the valleys or hollows for population control while living high up. Perfect "hunter" grounds.
  4. Could be just an old fashioned variant backlash.
  5. I guess my only gripe with #5 was how fast Marco broke his oath. I mean that ship could have been driven by Chewbacca and a random Ewok (Return of the Jedi Endor scene) for all he knew. It showed how fast he panicks (family or not). I thought his "pledge" really defined his character and was disappointed to see it go.
  6. The first page was awesome. The last page was awesome. The stuff with The Will was awesome. Awesome issue! Yup, #5 was a winner! I remembered I was more shocked to see that character's death then the character who died in TWD #100 actually. It actually felt too soon and unexpected. Jerel who hates Moderns.
  7. What we need is a Robert Altman-esque Shortcuts TV movie or bonus DVD special of all the characters criss-crossing with one another in life before the outbreak. Signs of cheating on Rick, who worked in an office, who pumped gas for a character. You get the idea.
  8. Backwards in time? Yes. Forwards in time? No way unless it's so vague that it won't ruin the narrative tension created over the last 10 years of not knowing who would live or die from issue to issue. Seeing any character alive 10 years from now destroys any chance of creating or maintaining tension in the storytelling as it pertains to that character. No matter what happened in regular time you'd know that the particular character survives it. I agree. If it's totally unexplained what happened to a character (or new characters in the plot acting like they've been around for years) that can build a mystery for the reader then I don't see the harm for a flash-foward type arc. Joe Hill has success with L&K doing storytelling like this, but those are minis and this ain't a mystery book.
  9. The way Carl was giving him the "eye", I putting my speculation on him doing in Negan.
  10. It took me awhile to hate the governor and his most hateful act caused his death. I hate Negan now. If the next 12 issues were nothing but feeding little bits of him to zombies fed by Maggie while Rick and Michonne stand guard I would buy every variant. That was so heart breaking I'd be tempted to beat anyone that dressed up like him at a Comicon. I think you just gave me a great idea. I wonder if he'll eventually become a character in the show. I believe he'll still be in the book 'til next year. I've never dressed up, but if I ever did, it would have to be a character that does not look like a dork. I actually thought of the Gov this year, but passed. Maybe next year? Negan? Of coarse, I'd have Doug as back up in case you do decide to tackle me down. Negan zombie? You better come up with a better plan. All I have to do is throw a WD slabbed 9.9 and your backup would beeline like George Michael to a restroom. Why can't you do it? Why can't you set your monkey free? Always giving in to it. Do you love the monkey or do you love me?
  11. It was a beautiful day out, just to admire things. A family of turkeys running about the property, a huge spiderweb made by the tiniest spider, etc (a trip through the country to the dump). Just couldn't bring myself to sight anything in after what happened. It was my version of flying the flags at half-mast.
  12. I swear these n00bs are really violent. I'm going back to collecting Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew books.
  13. Or eaten by special Kirkman celebrity guest zombie: Kenny Rogers.
  14. I really don't think they need his help. They get by just fine. That's part of the heart of the book. Their dynamic together.
  15. Just finished #5. Loved it! Gonna name my next cat "The Lying Cat"
  16. Giving up the registry?? Thinking about it Meet the creators?
  17. Yeah, I agree with this. Ricks probably defiantly daring him to do his best. Kirkman prides himself to be un-predictable. It might show Negan what a bad-azz he truly is in the process. That's Jerel's speck-ulation on this cover. You want a great looking TWD book, give Cliff Rathburn a chance. My
  18. This happens a lot in the Kirkman universe. And sells wayyyy better.
