  1. Darabont has a pretty loyal troupe of actors, which is pretty awesome for Hollywood. You know. I was gonna watch the remake of Mother's Day tonight, but I might watch The Mist instead. In Black & White too.
  2. I hope it sells!!! That would make mine worth $5k+ And it means I just finished giving away $100k. How clean is a whistle anyway?
  3. Some of us do. Let's make a concerted effort! Together, WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!!!
  4. I will always regret getting rid of my Comixpress CGC 9.6 (add on not buying that sketchbook at the Grantecon two years ago). Great book!
  5. I totally agree. It's rare I like a comic right off like this. Did I ever mention, I read Locke & Key #2 first and hated it.
  6. Thanks to Comicdiva89's wonderful generousity I got to finally read #1 today. I thought it was a great fairy tale setting up so deep rooted mythology that makes me excited to read #2 when it comes out. Thanks Annaka for getting me hooked!
  7. I rate it just below the Finding Nemo comics. (thumbs u
  8. It could be because the panic of the Nor'Easter about to hit tonight into Monday.
  9. Read mine at the Honda dealership while picking up my new car. I remember thinking "Bah! 28 Days Later rip-off", but liked Rick Grimes.
  10. That's not what I remember at all - I started buying WD off the rack at around issue 6, due to the owner of my LCS saying it was a good read. At that time he was out of #1s (he'd only ordered two copies), but I went back a couple of weeks later and picked up 2 through 5 for cover price. There really wasn't any momentum on that book for quite a long time - I paid $10 or so for the first WD #1 I bought off ebay. yeah. i bought my copy of #1 off ebay sometime between the late teens and the early 20's being out. #2 didn't get heat until mid-2004. It even surpassed #1 in value for a time. I have the Wizard "news" story on it somewhere. $5-10. I was still buying NM+ or better #1's in NH for $20 during late-2005. Sold a lot of these until 2007.
  11. Yeah he is about it on Facebook. Looks good! (thumbs u
  12. I haven't read the series yet. I'm just hoping to pick one up at SDCC and get it signed by Kirkman and Adlard. Maybe it won't be so impossible after all. Might want to add Tony Moore to that list of sigs. +1 The Moore the merrier.
  13. Yeah, but you run into bad-blood and potential bad-press to be buzzed around Tinseltown when you don't sever ties completely with a disgruntled actor. With Richard Harris, he died before his character could help Harry's character arc be completed to the books. He was a crucial element to Hogwarts. With DeMunn, AMC was afraid of anymore bad publicity, people in the Darabont camp might gripe about. "I didn't like it, So, they replaced me." AMC publically let him do a honorable thing for his friend (surprising spin) and probably figured they could just write in a new character anyway, like Merle, Daryl, T-Dog to expand the television universe past the funnybook.
  14. Darabont has been good to him throughout the years continously casting him in various projects. I would have been surprised if Jeffrey DeMunn continued to stay on board, like Alexandra Holden (another Darabont vet... The Mist) without saying or doing anything. My
