  1. thanks mac. i guess i wont be hanging it up then. not going to risk it.
  2. Question: Does anyone know where to get a cgc frame that has UV protection and fits a TMNT 1?
  3. Nice - did you buy them raw or graded already?
  4. http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2882339#Post2882339 hit this up when you get ur comics!
  5. the lesson learned: protect yourself with rubber and plastic = condom and cgc graded.
  6. imho, for this comic, i wouldnt buy it raw - unless you saw it in person and knew what you were doing. good luck!
  7. if it will make you happy then do it. investment wise, i wouldnt, imho.
  8. wow for 50k starting price - the least they could have done was list some of the bigger items in the auction.
  9. I like TMNT #1 as much as the next guy (probably more), but I HIGHLY doubt that Overstreet listing a guide price for the issue will affect sales one way or the other. The book is listed in open auction formats all the time to help give it a market value at any given point. I'd say a movie/new TV series would cause more issues to fly off the shelves than anything. My +1 Overstreet guide prices and any other guide prices have no affect on comic values. Actual sales is the only real way to get an idea of the value. And even then it all depends on how much the buyer is willing to pay and how much that seller is willing to take.
  10. if this helps, imho, i think you definitely got a better deal when compared to: http://cgi.ebay.com/Teenage-Mutant-Ninja-Turtles-1-4-All-First-Print-/320613296398?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4aa60aa90e
