Many condolences

Even though I've achieved 8 pts. in this round, I believe I guessed pretty good...2 on the War Victory, nailed the Tim Holt...had I switched my guesses on the Spidey and X-Men books, that would've been 2 more bulls, and 4 off on the Crossfire. So...going forward, I'm going to enact a certain "ritual" before pulling the trigger on my guesses, since my grading seems to be better when I do this... Thanks for the great contest(s) Mike! Congrats to the winners! See everybody in the next one!

1-2 off on three books, but nailed the GL 38; REALLY under-graded the My Great Love book...it stumped me...

I have these, encapsulated. The #6 I saw on eBay for a price I couldn't pass up... ...and the Bats 238, for which there is a back story on how this copy got the "Laker Label" CGC designation... Knowing that one of my favorite artists, Mr. Neal Adams would be at the Ohio ComicCon, I had some books selected so that I could have them signed, and had these two in the pile. I went to the convention, and silly me, forgot the books So..I rushed to the nearest seller booth to try and find any comic with a Neal Adams cover; found the Bats 238, got hold of a CGC rep for a witness, and went to see Mr. Adams. Even after finding out the book was slightly restored, I like the "Laker Label" it was given, and also the fact that it'll always remind me of the time of meeting and talking with the legendary Neal Adams.
