OAFcon coming up this weekend Oct. 4th-6th (Norman, Okla, Embassy Suites). Hopefully will get a few photos from the convention to share. If anyone else here is going, save me a spot at the bar!

I'm not exhibiting, but will be attending this year. Save me a seat at the bar! -
While there may be varying perspectives on when the Victorian/Platinum Age ends and transitions into the GA, I think it's safe to say the introduction of costumed superheroes ...starting with Superman in Action Comics #1... is the clearest milestone event. To my way of thinking ...which probably differs from a lot of folks... every comic produced prior to Action #1 and some comics produced after it probably fit into the PA description, at least in a very general sense. Between April '38 and ...say... the middle of '39 there seem to be clearer transition points along with the gradual ramping up of full color comic production, but it's on a comic by comic, publisher to publisher basis. Other thoughts? Keep in mind, I'm not stuck on any preconceived notion or viewpoint here nor trying to establish one.
