  1. You should probably remove the bag to give an inspection of the book at the very least. The poly bag sometimes leaves a non-color-breaking seam on the book that you’d otherwise be unaware.
  2. Was wondering why threads in this forum are being locked as I’ve noticed at least four instances in the last 2-3 days? Is the motivation being that once CS or Admin responds that the question or concern is considered put to rest? I’d think there’s a great many members here beyond those on the payroll that can additionally answer and offer insight or parallel experiences relative to the topic asked about in these types of threads.
  3. I understand this. The last couple years I’ve come to realize the learning curve in this hobby must be steep. I’m certainly behind the eight-ball when it comes to many moderns and variants.
  4. Maybe the OP submitted his personal copy of The Adventures Of Mr. Obadiah Oldbuck and that got mishandled somehow. I’d be a little bent, too.
  5. What @Aqua Lantern was stating is that these were not graded “on site”, but rather ahead of the show. The serial number of the 9.9 shows the grade date as being 7/28/22(for example).
  6. Just thought I’d add to this, but from one saved search I regularly get a result of She-Hulk #6 CGC. I’m not in any way looking for a She-Hulk or regular Hulk comic, nor is the number “6” included in my search. Maybe the universe is telling me I should have this comic, but I’m wavering on whether or not that’s a reasonable conclusion given all that I don’t know about the universe.
  7. Just received a nice batch of books from Krypto Mayor’s recent sales thread and it’s a terrific start to my weekend! All arrived safe & sound, conditions as described, and value priced to boot. I’d certainly purchase from him in the future.
  8. I hadn’t looked at MH’s site in ages, but just looked up FF #181. Interestingly(?) looking at the surrounding issues from #170 to #184 in “very good”, Chuck has the Five Fingered Thing cover priced lower than the others. Guess not everyone’s been clued in yet.
  9. I think I’m going to change my collecting focus from coverless comics to anatomy errors instead.
  10. In defense of the OP’s position, there is some precedence here as we all know the cover of silver age FF #12 is valuable because the Thing and Hulk both only have three toes on each foot.
