I don’t hop on here often much anymore. Usually make my rounds once in a while and reach out to a few people to keep in touch, bomber-bob was one of them through the years. It’s a bummer he’s not here anymore and hit me hard tonight. He beat me out on the marketplace for an Asm 11 8.0 that I really wanted and that’s what sparked our friendship/hobby talks. Here’s the copy I ended up getting a couple years after. He was the first person I reached out to when it came back from CGC. He was prob relieved I wasn’t gonna nag him anymore for that 8.0.

Such terrible news, we would touch base maybe once a year and chat about our current focus/acquisitions. Didn’t know he was sick. Very sad day in comics. Rest easy, bob.

Left all the comic Facebook groups and deleted most of my Instagram comic accounts. It’s like social media is breeding comic book m0r0ns . Maybe a decade on the boards has jaded me as to what an online comic presence should be but this character is the epitome of everything I can’t stand outside of the boards.

I bought an amazing Spider-Man 9 cbcs 8.0 universal on comic link. Crossed it over to CGC with their crossover service. Came back 8.5 Top and bottom trimmed.

Only grab of the year most likely but it’s a good one at least.
