    I'm blown away by some who consistently argue what is going on is "normal". A modern book going from $100 to $500 hey cool I can live with that, they just announced a tv/movie adaptation. A staple (arguably the number 1 by almost all accounts) silver age book goes from $25k-55k (effectively overnight) and the response is guys it was undervalued from the start. Or its always a grower (sure but not at 100% in a few months). There is a duck a foot. Has anyone on the boards won a copy that has been publicly offered recently? Normally we'd see a boardie or two win a copy in the auctions and post it but I haven't seen that since the MASSIVE price spike.

    Went under the radar??????...it was talked about here TWICE. Why cause the first time it was an overgraded voldemort copy and went for what sub 100k... and then a wow look at this great 8.5 CGC copy that went for 150k.

    Another year in the books. As Andy said sales were in the dollar bins again (this show doesn't seem to have the big wallets on keys). That said after a very strong Sunday (yes Sunday!) I'm happy to say another year where my numbers are up.

    Not much a priority fixing this apparently. Issues been running since launch and as of today we pay more if we don't use the broken system

    I don't think I notice any from the USA. I know there are a few local vendors (FreakShow - they only do Hamilton and Niagara, 1UP sometimes has comics again Hamilton Niagara only, Sketchbook - I know they are Niagara local but not sure if they do big shows).

    I lied I'm changing it to TGI Fridays. Why? Cause I can and you'll like it. But really cause no other place wants to take my guaranteed money reservations and first come first serve. TGI Fridays was happy to hear of our awesome party!

    1. I've turned off returns as I don't want to deal with buyers that pull this kind of junk, I won't make that mistake again. There is a difference of accepting returns and the idea of "price matching" I'm not Walmart, Amazon or a freaking grocery store, selling cans of pop. Maybe I should start buying modern comics that are hot and then when the value plummets cause the train is onto something else I should look to return them to the seller. You only offered the "restocking fee" after you got called out here and to try and save face, just like you changed your story from cheaper to family emergency when you realized that was a silly reason as well. 2. Of course return shipping would be on you. It's not my fault you don't want the book anymore.

    @Goshocks1 amazing cause you offered on my other copy of Aliens 1 just 3 days ago. The reason to have a return policy is not to allow silly returns such as "I found it cheaper", "I don't have the money now that the book has shipped to me and I've got it in my hands". I would gladly accept a return if the book wasn't described as such, had an issue with the purchase (wrong issue). Now instead you would prefer me to accept the book back because you want money back/found it cheaper/have a medical issue? I'm in the process of buying a house should I start returning all the books I bought in the last couple of days to free up more funds for the house? No, I'm an adult and take responsibility for my purchases.

    I just spent about 40 minutes on the phone with ebay and it went next to nowhere. Apparently if you accept returns you have to accept this kind of about returns.

    goshocks1 puchased an aliens 1 from me for $565 shipped. He received the item and within 1 hr of receiving it started a return process as he "found it cheaper elsewhere"

    No I mean what you do in a day. Wake up at 11am - then eat 12pm I play video games, youtube 1pm work at dishwasher job for 4 hrs 530 home and have dinner 6 video games till 2 in the morning repeat
