  1. Latest issue prolly had something to do with that. Win some, lose some didn't quite understand the huge jump in price on that one. After 19, seems some people were hoping to have the next big book. Although, new collectors from the show, who don't keep up with the new issues, might bump prices should Abraham show up on AMC
  2. That is some serious detail in that cover (thumbs u also like how the sig looks like a broche on her sweater. I really want to see what McFarlane has done for his cover
  3. i've been cracking jokes, but in all seriousness...nice tattoo. +1 Like the placement too (thumbs u
  4. For some reason, I thought you said you ran a marathon and then read walking dead too! I read it that way too, the first time
  5. Very true, the reds certainly grasp the eye. I also like the cover to 43, with the sunburst background and good ol' Governor front and center. Seems all the red issues cover some very key moments in the WD storyline
  6. In no particular order, covers 9, 16, and, 19 are some of my favorite covers. Tony Moore certainly made much better covers IMO
  7. Yes, but really in the end of the world kind of scenario, is sexy really a pre-requisite? Who looks tougher? Yes! Yes it is. I would say for an end of world scenario that sexiness is the #1 pre-req. Say my choice is either Adriana Lima who is scared to death to pull the trigger or Rosanne Barr with an M-60, this one is a no-brainer. Sexytime during the end of the world is more important than anything else. Right now would be a good time for a Stewie sexy party
  8. arf! shucks i'm not an expert but over the last 2 months granular... earlier than that well on and off. just like every other joe. ...but i know what you mean. if it was my pond i would be trying to reel me in too Someone who can take a joke WTTB
  9. Following the pattern maybe list yours for $30k. depending on how this book goes, I just might put mine on the market you know you really love your set, when even the prospect of making that kind of dough, brings emotions of reluctance
  10. Looks like another one is up, black warning too http://www.ebay.com/itm/WALKING-DEAD-1-CGC-9-9-MINT-White-Pages-TOP-0-6-Highest-graded-0966396001-/120915286161?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item1c271cd891#ht_2130wt_922
  11. I hope it sells!!! That would make mine worth $5k+ And it means I just finished giving away $100k.
  12. +1 appears raw prices have cooled a bit, but there's still a few oddball fluctuations here and there. The Weekly issues seem to have took a serious downturn as well, although I'm sure the key Weekly books will still sale for more than expected, come show time.
  13. I will have a 500 word essay ready soon, on my thoughts of issue 97 That is more like it Just read 97 and I'm personally pleased with the drama that is developing amongst the many characters. Should be interesting to see how the interactions between some of the characters will affect the group as this story arc plays out. Can't imagine how Glenn's news will affect him, after their first taste of conflict with their new threat. I'm feeling pretty excited to see how this one turns out in the end
  14. I will have a 500 word essay ready soon, on my thoughts of issue 97
  15. It's not on Ebay but on Heritage or Comic Connect? It's on Comic Link but you dont need to concern yourself with it, once I win lotto it's going to be mine When I win the lottery, I'm going to buy Tony Moore. He will sign and sketch all the books I want. He will also redraw the interior of every Walking Dead book, as only he can
  16. Awesome seller (thumbs u Superb packing, spot on grading, and very cordial communication! Thanks Rick
  17. If you're going to buy raw on eBay, and you're not sure about the seller, ask as many questions as possible. Reputable sellers will usually provide scans of the front and back, and will disclose information, if you ask nicely. I'd personally look for raw books from boardies first in the Want to Buy section. There's a lot of sellers on eBay who overgrade books. If you do find something worth taking a chance on (I.e. scans look good, etc.) ALWAYS ask how they package books, BEFORE making the purchase there's nothing worse than finding some high grade book at a decent price, only to have to return it due to poor packing
  18. My slab has error variant printed on it in the top left corner
  19. Signature Series = SS I hope nobody took that seriously I've been watching the Military Channel's World at War.
