  1. This is my sons thing and it really turns out cool I think, He loves doing it on the last day of a con (we always go 3) I keep a decent stock of blanks for both commissions through the mail and at cons signings ect so I give him one and he gets everyone he can to sign it. This one is from Albuquerque Comic Expo 2011 It has tons that I cant even remember but some are Brian Pulido, Artur Suydam, Matt Campbell, Shannon Denton, Andy Kuhn, and many others This is his other one from Albuquerque Comic Con 2012 It has Brian Pulido, Jon Hughes, Nei Ruffino, Eric Basaldua (Ebas), Jamie Tyndall, David Harrigan, Larry Welz, Andy Carreon, David Mack, Patric Finch. He likes it and I think its fun for him to do, He also has a sketch book he gets sketched in but that takes time and his little 6 year old patients don't last so long.
  2. Yea I didn't mean to derail the convo was just saying what I upgraded to. I don't really see WD holding its value over the long term so I wanted to cash in the comics I have, I never really read and was just in the pile of random comics I have.Just had to unload them while the market is hot for them
  3. gave 425 for it with a case of ammo. Guy laughed and said "your going from a zombie comic to a zombie killer"
  4. I love how hot Walking dead #1 is right now. I just sold 2 raw copies I was GIVEN by my lcs when it came out for $300 each and got a Draco ak-47 pistol got to love that!
  5. I would say that it depends on the celebrity and what you have them sign on. IE Mark Hamill on an Spider-Man no 1 would for sure devalue the book. But lets say you get his sig on marvels Star Wars No 1 that probably would not lower the value. So like Nick Cage on Ghost Rider, The cast of Walking dead on Walking Dead ect would not Lower the value, but may limit the market to people who are more fans of the celebrity than the book itself. On how to deal with getting Autographs from creators on trick that I have implemented at the last con I went to, I made a mini short box, maybe big enough for like 25 books total and would fit nicely in my backpack with a divider. I then took some bags and boards and cut off the tops of them so there is no flap and they are like a top loader (top loaders are hard to come by in my neck of the woods) so I could quickly access the books (nothing sucks more than having to wait in line while everyone has to open their bags to give the artist a book to sign,) and these bags will hold 2 books nicely one on each side of the board, I then put the books I would like to get signed in the box with post it's on them so I could find them quickly. Once I get them signed I place them back in the bag, in front of the divider so I know they are "mission accomplished" This also allows me to keep my hands free and have a nice safe place to put any books I pick up at the show also.
