  1. I think Kane did a great layout, but Giacoia didn't do him any favors with the inks. I wish Klaus Janson or Tom Palmer would have done the finishes. Man-o-man, you have an endless trove of Don Rosa Picture Frames. When are you going to finish putting your books in the registry? You're holding out on us!
  2. Nice haul, batmiesta. Love those Gil Kane covers, especially with Janson or Palmer inks.
  3. Yes, it was. I couldn't click in the BIN fast enough. Well, I guess I did click fast enough. Either way, I was very happy to snag it. Iron Man #46 and 47 are also great covers in my opinion. Same with #54 which is the first IM after the Picture Frames ended. I wouldn't be surprised if it was designed as a PF and changed after the fact.
  4. This book is making my eyeballs melt. The others aren't so bad either. Beautiful stuff.
  5. Very few high grade copies; I'm guessing a lower print run because it was sold every other month and crappy stories led to few survivors. Avengers #103 is notoriously hard to find in 9.4 or better. And that book has 19 copies in 9.4 or better in the census. Iron Man #44 only has 9 copies in 9.4 or better. Your theory sounds pretty plausible.
  6. This book has been a white whale for me. Finally snagged a 9.6 copy.
  7. Great covers on both of those Kid Colts. Very cool stuff.
  8. Okay, GT... How's about a little help, huh? Based on past rounds of Picture Frame Pursuit your quizzes are too freaking hard! (For me, anyway! ) Why do I say that? Well... even the Almighty Aldred cannot score a victory in this round! Send us a clue, My Friend, and hopefully a response will ring true.
  9. Trying a new shape. I'm still not capable of the fancy puzzle pieces.
  10. Creatures on the Loose 14 I think you have some kind of mutant ability.
  11. This one is driving me nuts. Is the book on this list? 12. It does seem a bit harder to find in 9.6 or better compared to issues from the same era.
  13. I'm trying to use Ken's process but it just ain't workin'. I'd like to buy another clue. Can I also buy a clue? I need another hint. Genre? Genre: Hero (sort of.) Well, that didn't help me one little bit. I need more info
  14. Great books, Darwin. Did you get any of them from Joe V? He had a nice new collection.
