  1. Hey, Neal Adams fans! I'm looking for pages 1, 3, 4, 15 from Green Lantern #84. It is a 22 page story and I currently have scans of 18 pages. I'd love to be able to present the entire story in the forthcoming Artist's Edition. If you have any of these pages (or other nice Adams DC art), please feel free to reach out to me. Thanks!
  2. Hey, I'll be at Baltimore Comic-Con with my trusty scanner. If you are attending the show and have some nice art, including (but not limited to): Neal Adams, George Perez, Arthur Adams Marvel, Jose Luis Garcia Lopez, Marshall Rogers DC, Michael Golden DC, Kevin Nowlan DC, Alan Moore-ish Swamp Thing (16 through the final Veitch issues). Speaking of Rick Veitch, does anyone know where the unpublished issue is that he wrote, the Jesus story? It's something I'd like to scan if I can ever get permission to print it. Anyway, hope to see some of you at Baltimore, and if not, feel free to reach out and maybe arrange scanning another way. Thanks, Scott

  5. The Michael Golden Marvel Stories Artist's Edition was announced at NYCC a couple of weeks ago. There will be four complete stories, including Marvel Fanfare #47, and two short Nam stories from Savage Tales, lots of covers and pages. Trying to go all out on this one. If you have any really nice Golden originals (MARVEL ONLY) please let me know. Also, I will have my scanner at the Baltimore Comic-Con in a week and a half, and at the LA Art Show the week after. 8. I remember that store, it was in the upper 40s on 8th Ave. You're right, grumpy owner, grungy shop. Had a lot of movie materials too, right? And, to go back the original topic, Supersnipe was my local comic shop from 4th to 6th grades, in 1972, 1973. Gave me my first taste of old comics and art.
  9. If only I didn't spend all my money on Artist's Editions.
  10. Just did a CAF update, first one in ages. Got a bunch of Kevin Nowlan painted art from a very old project that is finally done: http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryRoom.asp?GSub=134328
  11. FYI, most of the head shots were variations of the one on our site. Much less of the "50/50" sketches. Congrats. Best, Scott
  12. No argument from me ;-) Come and tell him what a great job he's doing at San Diego this year, his name is Mike.
  13. I just spoke to our completely overworked shipping guy and he tells me they will start going out end of next week. When you see the packing job you'll know why it takes a little while to get them out. Best, Scott
  14. No worries, my mistake. You can request it by sending an e-mail to the store. If there's a problem just let me know.
  15. We'll only have Spider-Man sketches at Wonder-Con, but you can request others next week. Spider-Man is the default. Anyone who wants a different character at Wonder-Con should ask for me, we'll see what we can do (no promises, okay?).
  16. Hey Guys, Just wanted to let you know we will have copies of the Romita book available at Wonder-Con, aside from the pre-orders. Not sure how many but I would suggest getting there early on Friday if you want to get one. We will be placing the rest of the copies on the IDW site early next week, I'll post when they go live. Best, Scott
  17.
