I was looking at immacuclean too, but his YouTube videos are very suspect when it comes to wet cleaning. All he shows is the beginning soaking which looks like it’s doing more damage and then never the finished product. I want to work my way up to cleaning the water/liquid stain in my X-Men 1 to save the pages from becoming brittle. Is a water bath with heat lamp and press the way to go or a humidity chamber? Any suggestions?

Love the Kubrick talk. 2001 does everything the format of films should do and is my all time favorite scifi film. Our comprehension of aliens would not come in the shape of familiar physical bodies like us with a blue or green tinge.

Besides titillating, why is Mystique naked? And where's Banshee? I liked the actor. His faces were hilarious.

Played the ps4 at best buy. FIFA was fun until the demo kicked me off after 5 minutes. Too expensive with no must have games right now. Wait and see.

I wish I showed up sooner, but a local high school had a massive yard sale with fifty spots. The two people with comics: five dollar a piece 90s drek and five for a dollar 70s horror. I got sixty Marvel and DC 70s horror for $12. Most are in VG, but some are FN including a Luke Cage #1. The dude next to me started grabbing the DCs when he saw me getting them or I would have gotten more. I can't wait to read them tonight.

Mohawk or bust.

I thought I was closer than I am. 52 to go including numero uno. Mine are raw and mostly in the gd/vg range for the silver age. I want to put a dent in that number during this Wondercon, but that #1 is so tempting.

Are X-Men #1s value depressed right now or is it just me trying to convince myself to blow my Wondercon budget on one book? A book I've been yearning and sometimes burning for since I was a wee lad by the way.

My PS3 just gave me the yellow light of death or whatever you want to call it. Anybody else have any experience with this and were able to fix it? My wife recommends dumping it and having me wait for the PS4.

Just started The Green Knight by Iris Murdoch. A lot of references to The Faerie Queene and other Arthurian legends. I dug The Sea, The Sea and her philosophical writings. If you like Plato, you'll like her.

Hey Greggy, are those Marvel Scooby Doos any good? I know Charlton, Whitman, and Gold Key published ones in the 70s also.

Is nobody collecting X-Men right now?

The Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri. Half way through Purgatorio. I wish I read more canonical texts when I was younger. So I figure this is the time to catch up.
