  1. Tree-fiddy Here's a nice 9.2. http://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-9-2-Graded-CGC-Incredible-Hulk-181-/281947941315?hash=item41a56829c3:g:CxkAAOSwWTRW0ZmC Too bad it looks to me like he shilled it up to the exact $1,850 somebody paid for it about a year ago. GPA might actually mean something on a restored high grade book. Not.
  2. Did that week of posts really need to go "poof"? I was hoping to respond to the post about the Extensive sale price being low compared to what other traditional extensive books would go for. The highest sale I've ever seen for an extensive shows about $22,905 for a 9.2 in 2009. Then in 2010 it shows the same certification number selling for $7,768. I can't find any evidence of a real market for extensive in key books. No matter who grades them.
  3. My point being, perhaps the guidelines should be modified. Between the old friends bumping each other with "dude, nice books." and this tactic, maybe it should just be all bets are off. Someone playing by the rules of creating a post and listing all of the books they want to sell at once, quickly disappears. Other people get fifty , , ? bumps because they promise books are "coming" any minute.
  4. I'm not a participant all that often, but isn't it sort of defeating the purpose of not continually bumping your own thread if you are adding 1 book every three hours for two days? Just curious, and not directed toward anyone in particular. Carry on.
  5. I'd say something about matching carpet, but I doubt there is carpet....
  6. That girl has Pam Andersen "before twenty years of partying" face. Thanks to Tofer118 and Namisgr for purchases during the VCC. No BS, class acts.........THX. (thumbs u
  7. Cloudofwit, monkeyman, CdaBruce, akasteverogers, johnenock, 360degrees, Count. Extremely fast payment. Thx.
  8. Looks like X-Men 143 next to the Metamorpho The book in the top row is a Masters of the Universe..I believe there is a Master of Kung Fu next to it. Same Peter Parker twice bottom row, a Marvel Tales, Kung Fu Fighter and a Flash. No clue what's under the Iron Man he's picking up, or next to the Amazing two rows down from the Iron Man.
  9. Watched it on Blu Ray yesterday. This guy is about to hold up the convenience store. Typical reaction to 80's Marvels. I'm pretty sure the Amazing is #236...came out about 4 years before this movie did.
