  1. Could this be an over run on the production spool (paper) where it should have been changed out? The text is REF 85 526 0ED
  2. If these are the binders and they are clean and without rust then they are probably worth more than the magazines. A group of 7 of them sold for $50 last week, they were stated in the auction as being in "great condition" when asked for more pictures and if the bars had rust, the seller didn't reply. A single one with rust, stains, and damage sold for $30 in November which tends to be the average given the usual condition.
  3. Received the mysterybox from @comicparadox Paradox today! Really nice couple of Thor's, a Worlds Finest, and an early Overstreet. The Cap is a mark jewelers variant... I hear they are all the rage to get slabbed now I'll leave you on the edge with your grandma's favorite TV doctor before he was your uncle:
  4. Signature only books: completed and shipped 1/2 (arrived in hand 1/4) Remarq/Sketch: Still sitting in SFG CCS: signed, completed by CCS, checked in by CGC 1/3 as SFG, updated to GEI 1/4
  5. Some of my submissions: Signature only books: completed and shipped 1/2 (arrived in hand 1/4) Remarq/Sketch: Still sitting in SFG CCS: signed, completed by CCS, checked in by CGC 1/3 as SFG, updated to GEI 1/4
  6. Jim Lee Signature books: Shipped Remarq/Sketch: still SFG CCS: Finally moved to SFG (with 1/3 check in date) I haven't used CGC's pressing in over 5 years but I sent in some 9.6s so I am not super concerned when they destroy them like previous, plus the 50% was worth a shot.
  7. Never said he did anything wrong and the object of bringing suit isn't to take it to court as I stated above (as well as it being morally questionable). Given the ebayer's response it would seem he is used to being in possession of other peoples lost items through legal means. I am sure he has faced many empty threats over email given said response to OP and has kept perfect asset receipts to prove beyond the needed preponderance of evidence that his attainment of the art is as he explained. It is just an option given the value of the art, though a salacious one. It does seem that the temperature of who is in the right concerning ownership has changed since the same thing happened with the buying of lost mail and original art (I believe stolen enroute to Heritage) that ended up in Southern Missouri (Sikeston mail outlet IIRC)
  8. Slabs and TPB's have been shipped and I even made a custom Holiday Raffle Card... you guys really missed out, it's even autographed!
  9. It is a compromised account from a scammer; all book photos are from other previous listings. 82k items listed within 4 hours via a script that is ran once they have access to your account.
  10. I now have two #11 in 9.8 SS; and finally after some failures have a Marvel Age #104 in 9.8 SS
  11. I am not going to say this is the correct way to do things as it is morally grey if not outright wrong; but OP could easily weaponize the court system to assist in the return of the art. Assuming your pockets are deeper than the ebayer (whom came across as a jacka ss with his response) your attorney can send a letter of intent and various preservation of evidence letters as a scare tactic. Since technically one of the parties has not been made whole and they know where the items are a police report can be filed, both will be used to support the initial civil litigation against the Ebayer. The goal would be to settle and get the art returned (compensating the ebayer for original purchase fees and some additional on the top) or drown the them in legal fees and the quagmire of the courts while they are on the hook of keeping the item unsold and safe until completed.
  12. Jim Lee signatures shipped today 1/2 X-Men #11 Second Print 9.8 SS Marvel Age #104 9.8 SS Still no movement on remarq/sketch Still no movement on CCS
  13. The art was used on promotional post cards, my LCS had stacks of them (both the white/black & purple/black checkered background). I used one as a bookmark for a decade so was hoping for a shot at the OA.
  14. Looks like the seller ended the auction yesterday.
  15. My only OA goal is the same as every year a page from Adventure Comics #346; though I might have a better shot this year since I saved up some funds (naively not near enough) that I intended to use on the Death post card art that ends in a couple days. So I will have a shot over the summer at a page that I know someone has.
  16. There isn't really a definitive history of each pedigree, just short generic sales blurbs. The Church books have probably the most information available, but even book lists of what is in the pedigree are not shared to the general public. CGC over the last 20 years have become the de-facto curator of pedigree's and they have been very poor stewards of that responsibility.
  17. I always enjoyed the Venom appearances in Darkhawk who is spider-man adjacent so not exactly random, but was amazing at the time (venom was self isolated on an island during this period and well into his good-ish phase). Probably much more fitting: FEAR THE MAN OF STILTS!
  18. guess i'll have to hope some of those old adds are still valid in my 12 centers... going need those x-ray glasses to see the missing MVS, centerfolds, etc.
  19. pretty sure I can set-up a google doc with a check box to show/highlight what has been taken from the list. The only data entry would be who selected it. This could solve a couple issues and would update in realtime with only certain people able to make changes.
  20. I am always amazed at what has been passed over; I was very close to selecting the GA Romance script but the coin flipped the other way.
  21. Your children will now miss out on drawn pictures of myself in vampire form! avoiding this trauma may have been a wise decision.
  22. Alright you rabble we have selected to many mystery boxes it is time to start selecting some of the comic book offerings... Might I humbly suggest the amazing lot #43! I have it on good authority that if you select this lot it will also include three indy TPB from Jason McNamara which I helped fund and have been drawn into the books! What a bonus!!!!
