  1. X-Men 132 9.4 CGC SS - John Byrne, Chris Claremont, Jim Salicrup and Jim Shooter. I bought it signed by Mr. Byrne probably over a decade ago. I had the rest sign it at NYCC 2023, so I had the custom label put in the slab.
  2. Haha. You and I would get along. Not just because it appears that we were born the same year.
  3. Ugh. I can't stand Spencer Beck. I have tried to get commissions from several artists he represents through him. He always has a problem and elects not to take the work for them. Then when I meet them in person they do it with no problem at a show. Spencer is worst, he has undoubtedly cost each artist he represents thousands of dollars.
  4. I wasn't sure what cover to use for Willem Dafoe, but I figured an Alex Ross image wouldn't be a bad choice. I am happy that the green ink I requested was used.
  5. Grading/Quality Control as of today. I guess John finally got these done.
  6. My submission went from Received to Scheduled For Grading today and it was for a full figure. Check your status again, maybe he got them all done.
  7. Here is the GPA sales data for the only two recorded sales. Both were double signed by Larry Lieber and John Romita Sr. I also included the CGC census, so you can see the entire population of these that have been graded. I thought it was odd that no blue labels have been sold.
  8. I did request blue ink. I would not mind if you messaged the story to me, I enjoy hearing about the experiences of others.
  9. My J. Scott Campbell books were received on 8/22/2022, shipped on 11/11/2022 and delivered to me on 11/14/2022.
  10. I have no idea why this thread has been inactive for so long. I haven't visited the boards much since the look changed a few years ago, but I wanted to see what had been posted here and found nothing. So I am putting this one up in the hopes that others will follow Turtle's original request of posting books with 3 or more signatures.
  11. Clearly I am not going to read through all of these comments due to how aggravated I am right now. I am sure others have mentioned this, but CGC should be extending this deadline. One week was not enough and it makes me wonder if that was purposely done so that the servers would crash and we would have to wait to submit for more money. I know nothing about computers, but I can tell you that if you are going to have a major surge in website traffic, which they knew would happen, you have to have have servers capable of handling this, which clearly they do not. So if anyone from CGC bothers to read this, EXTEND THE DEADLINE.
  12. I am hijacking Adonis' thread because I know him and next time he makes his way up for NYCC we'll have some beers. At first I thought there were two giant scratches across this ASM 55 2nd Print that I picked up today. As it turns out it is just some sort of flaw with the ink, the cover isn't creased like it looks. Any thoughts on it would be appreciated, thanks in advance. I have not seen any others like it but it could be extremely common for all I know.
  13. This is the only SS copy of Combat 4 that will ever be on the census, barring someone signing a copy that has nothing to do with the book. It is also the worst Stan Lee signature that I own, but I am not knocking the man as I will not get anywhere near the age he was at his last NYCC appearance. It was nice to see him that final time. Combat 4 CGC 7.5 SS Stan Lee and Joe Sinnott.
  14. I don't think I ever got around to posting this. I had it signed in 2016 by both Stan Lee and Joe Sinnott. Two great legends that I miss. I got to meet Mr. Sinnott several times over the years and I will treasure those memories.
