The "Kubert" Collection, where to find details?

Believe the same with my copy here, also no signature on splash page (I wouldn't expect it on this book). -
The "Kubert" Collection, where to find details?
ramrodcar replied to ramrodcar's topic in Comics General
much appreciated, it's interesting and at least something, however was hoping for more detail than that. -
I searched here and google and couldn't really find any information. I picked up a collection a while back and in the bag of a FNish copy of Marvel Premiere #1, was the below certificate. Is there a book-to-certificate "registry" or any information such as old advertisements from Comics Plus marketing this collection? Any way to validate the authenticity of the book and the certificate? Thanks in advance!

They've also stated they're eventually going to implement a tip screen on the order forms for the "graders" /s -
TOS for sure

Bad News: Got one shipment back and 24 of 25 had combinations of scuffing, scratches, cracked cases, and/or a loose top post. I believe based on the one book with case length cracks that the box was dropped by fedex, which probably popped a bunch of the top posts loose. Good News: This one-of-a-kind came back in the same box without any damage.

Agree low/mid-grade is definitely falling, lots of high grade too. The market needs people like you to prop it up, thanks for your service!

did you try contacting them directly first? -
Seller sold an incomplete book to me - How would you respond?
ramrodcar replied to O Doyle Rules's topic in Comics General
Likewise if the buyer would've spent 1min to count the pages within 30 days, this situation wouldn't exist either. Trust but verify folks. You should take the $100 consideration and cut your losses assuming it's still an option at this point. -

Tough one, who's to say that you or CGC didn't damage the book; since you didn't page count it before sending off to CGC it's really a he-said-she-said issue. Seller should not be liable for any of your cost to send to CGC, however any seller worth anything, who cares about their reputation, would likely offer a reasonable refund at least. I feel that based on the time that $100 is the minimum of reasonable in this instance. -
Just wait until there's a new fee to post a thread in the Marketplace sub forums...

I beg to differ on moderns zipping through, unless you're greggy. There is no way this process is FIFO.

CGC’s OFFICIAL Mechanical Errors / Returns Policy
ramrodcar replied to SpineTic's topic in Comics General
I think you're missing the point; within a reasonable amount of time (I agree 14 days is enough time for the purchaser to investigate), there should be a level of expectation that the case was delivered free from major defects (scratches, scuffs, AND newton rings). Somewhat analogous, if you were purchasing new windows for your house it would be unreasonable of the supplier to expect you the customer to accept say glass scratches, scuffs, and fogging in between the glass panes. There is an expectation of CLARITY when buying windows, as well as part of CGC's product offering. If there's material issues, there should be consideration, whether agreed upon monetary or replacement of the case (or window) by the manufacturer. Unlike windows, no one is asking for a 1, 2, or 3 year warranty against defects, just that the product was delivered safely without material defects. All the other stuff about age of slabs, would you buy this or that, disclosure as a seller, etc... is irrelevant to the complaints in this thread and the new policy -
this is pretty infuriating when I've got a submission of 25 received on 4/13, and in GEI since 4/19.

It should, just select Hulk 349 in the submission form.

Title says it all, it's from an early 70's DC book; is this an early form of an anti-theft tag? A golden ticket ala Willy Wonka? I did the google thing and it let me down

I absolutely would pay additional (in reason) to buy something made somewhere "local". Regardless, saying one thing and doing another doesn't inspire trust or confidence in the company and product. It makes me wonder, are the other claims like "Acid free" a bunch of wildly_fanciful_statement too?
