  1. I have 2 Tales to Asonish 88 cgc 8.5 and 99 cgc 9.6
  2. To think I sold my NM 98 newsstand Australian edition with the 1.50 cover price for $80 . Oh well it did just cost me a buck fifty off the stands. Now that edition would be worth way more in top grade then a direct sales one .
  3. Non key 60s pedigree books that are not the highest in cgc census go for same price as a non pedigree. Why I target them. I want more pedigrees then a dog show
  4. Nice looking Thor. Early Oakland's I have are around the 8.5 in condition moving to 9.6 early 1968

  8. This use to be my old comic room before I sold most of it off. A built in cupboard with all my comic boxes and shelf on top with graphic novels, master works and other hard cover books. On the wall I had framed books That were not relatively expensive but looked cool to be shown in the open. A framed behind UV glass drawing of Sub-mariner by Alex Maleev. And old television to play old games on with and some star trek and doctor who toys. Including a remote control Dalek that I don't have anymore and a sword. But I still have the Nintendo game and watches. Not much of a comic room but it was ok for me. For some reason I had taken photos of it and just found them on my hard drive. (thumbs u
  9. I want to dig around those boxes. I think I will start with the box that has X-men written on the end
  10. Indeed! That's a great looking cover of TTA 7 (thumbs u Another book I need for my run
  11. I was 16 when this book hit the news stands and I bought it. By issue 3 I was thinking gee Punisher is not going to have any recurring enemies because he keeps killing them off every issue
  12. Wow those colours a so vibrant, nice re-discovery (thumbs u
  13. Great books. I've been collecting pre-hero for 20+ years and found those to be tough. I've never owned the #17 because I haven't found one I like that I wanted to pay the asking price for, and I just picked up a lower grade #22 in a recent Clink auction to finally at least have a copy of that one. I read your post about the TTA 22 so I hunted on the net and found a dealer with 2 copies. The copy I got was the higher grade of the 2, Both the 22 and the 17 were discounted already but also had make a offer. So I bought The 22 in vg $41 The 17 in f- $68 I'm not after high grade expensive pre hero issues just the ones that present well for the grade in $40 to $100 price range the earlier ones and that damn 13 I will have to adjust my buying when time comes for them (thumbs u
  14. picked these 2 up for my TTA run, Not the highest grade but they are in my price range (thumbs u
  15. Ordered this online last week, should arrive any day now I have been wanting this book with the mad scientist on the cover for couple years but always seem to get side tracked with other books (thumbs u
  16. just notice what the hell is wrong with that guy on the right yelling out the missiles cant stop him and he is standing with one leg each side over Droom's massive claw
  17. Still with that many boxes. Just love to go thru them and locate all the treasures (thumbs u
  18. The old web site that is not running now from metro, show off your comics was great for grading. They had a poll system set up where you selected a grade from .5 to 10 and after you submitted up comes the results of all other grades and their percentages. just like the polls do here that would be ideal for people doing grades and not being influenced by others. I don't look at other grades before I post mine but like to post grades here on the new books with no or very little initial response (thumbs u
