  1. Bought TOS 50 from me. I needed money quickly and he paid quickly.
  2. He bought a bunch of X-men from me awhile back. Smooth transactions and quick payment.
  3. Bought a few early ASM from me and paid within 1 hour of getting my paypal info. Doesn't get much better. Also just called another couple ASM as well.
  4. Ohhh I hate that. I had an ASM 300 9.8 on ebay and a dude sent me a good offer. I sent him a counteroffer of like $10 more and all 48 hrs went by and I heard nothing from him. No decline, no nothing. No ebay message. He then sen't another good offer on the 9.6 of the same comic. I sent him a counteroffer for that too and heard nothing. Less than a couple weeks later I see the same dude sell a ASM 300 9.8 for basically the exact same price he offered me for mine before. I have no clue what was going on with that, but I wont take any offer serious from them and with the lack of communication would never sell to them because I have no reason to believe I would be paid and never hear anything from them.
  5. I posted in the other thread, but since this is more popular I will say here. I sent in 1 comic Economy Fast Track. They received it 8/24 It was graded 9/21 Took till today 10/5 before it was shipped. I may have it by Wednesday. They were behind on that 20 biz days. Now I had sent in some moderns for Modern Fast Track on the same day (received 8/24) and they marked those as shipped to me 9/10, so they doing good on those.
  6. Bought big TOS and TTA lots from me and paid quickly as soon as the deals were final.
  7. I guess I would be the second buyer here. Bought a TOS 50 from him. Came super fast and packed well. Looks really good for its grade too.
  8. Transplant got 1 copy of Killing Joke from me. Called it fast and I was paid and had it shipped out in about 12 hrs after I started the thread. Very smooth.
  9. He bought another ASM, a Fantastic Four, and an early X-Men lot from me. Paid quick and super easy to work with. I just love posting stuff he is interested in
  10. Sold a lot of Avengers to silverweb. Quick payment, pleasure to do business with.
  11. David bought a lot of Daredevils from me. Quick payment, would work with again.
  12. It is very hard to distinguish between these bindery tears and spine ticks or stress marks. If they are in the UPC box area, they are almost certainly bindery tears. To confirm this, you have to open the book and carefully look at them from the inside of the front cover. You will be able to see that they actually go through the paper. I did open the book to be sure. Inside cover was fine. Its just the 2 lines on the outside. I looked on the outside at first until I read another post saying the same thing as you, so I opened it up and it was not a tear through I can take pictures if you want. Scan on the outside front cover and take a pic with my digi cam up close of the inside front cover.
  13. Bio bought some Teen Titans from me. Paid quick. Pleasure to do business with. Hope that's not the last time. (thumbs u
  14. Had to look at mine and yep, its on mine too. Well except mine are 2 spine ticks. They are not tears.
  15. Not a comic thing, but I had been thinking for years what I wanted my first tattoo to be. When I finally thought of it I decided to draw it. This is my tattoo design drawing. When my brother was younger he did a drawing of Magneto from one of the covers of X-Men (Vol 2) #1 when it first came out. If its still around I may go snap a pic of that. Interesting I will be selling that very comic at some point.
  16. Spider-Dan got another ASM lot from me a few days back (70-71, 73-77, 80-85, 89, 91). Again quick payment and all the same good stuff I mentioned in my above post
  17. I sold Dan ASM 51-68 on the 2nd. After I saw his in my thread, I sent him a message. In basically 30 minutes exactly after I sent the PM we got through details and I had the money in my paypal. He was the first person on the board to buy from me and it couldn't have gone any easier or quicker. Kudos
  18. For selling lots of maybe 100 comics that are modern NM ones that may range btwn 50 cents to $2 or so bucks each, should I double box those? I was thinking maybe making 5-7 cardboard sandwiches for groups of say 15-20. Put in appropiate sized box with peanuts. Maybe wrap the cardboard sandwiches in 1 layer of bubblewrap. Would I need to double box that? Or leave it like it is since the shipping will already be high and the comics themselves are lower priced? Also, should I lay the sandwiches flat and stack them with peanuts in btwn and get a slightly taller box? Or stand them up with peanuts in btwn similar to how its done in a med flat rate box and get a slightly wider box?
  19. ^ Thanks. I got all my comics inventoried finally. Going to sell over 4,400 of them. I think I have an idea on boxes now after reading this thread. Man double boxing and shipping 100+ comic lots must have some expensive shipping. Anyway, As for what goes in the box, I read newspaper, bubblewrap, packing peanuts, cardboard rectangles and I think that's it. I certainly dont wanna be one that doesn't do things proper after reading stuff in here. I ordered free bubble mailers but I kinda dont trust anything that can bend. Even with cardboard sandwich. As for buying these things cheapest whats the way to get them? Cheapest place to get the cardboard, bubblewrap, and peanuts. As for cardboard squares I wanna make sure they are stiff too. I know some people said they cut up the priority boxes to use then someone else said some people were caught somehow using those. It was a older post so idk if thats still an issue or not. Is that something people still do now?
  20. I think you're confusing paypal payments with paypal personal payments - regular paypal payments are allowed here and are the preferred payment method of most sellers. Using a paypal personal payment for something you bought on eBay is crazy - unlike regular paypal payments, you get zero buyer protection against the item not being as described. *sigh* I guess I drank all my stupid juice this week. I have been doing too much. Brain not fresh. I didn't even know the difference.
  21. Thanks. So used to using it on ebay, I didn't know about it outside of ebay. Is there 1 or 2 major accepted forms of payment most here deal with or is it individual type stuff like from whatever particular buyer/seller agree too?
  22. I was going to start selling comics here soon and I was wondering why is personal paypal not accepted here?
  23. Really love that #171 above. Have to post this one too. Man this art cracks me up. That has to be the ugliest Batman and Robin I have ever seen.
