Holy did the momentum that this series had die quickly on eBay. Did people get bored or just because of the hype going on with Sixth Gun divert everyone's attention as of late? The only listings with bids on them are way under value right now.

Now that the mega-hype has shifted somewhat from Chew to Sixth Gun for the moment, I sure hope I can fill some of the holes in my Chew run for decent prices. I lucked out yesterday and picked up #3 (1st, 2nd and 3rd print, plug #4 (1st and 2nd print) for $24

I can confirm, the owner of my main LCS just told me that 109 will have a blank sketch cover variant. And then he told me he was putting me down for 50 copies

That is so friggin' awesome! for both items in the frame. I imagine it took some looking to find that 9.9 since there is so much black ink on that cover, creases can easily become color breaks on it.

I've never send out a book to someone to have it signed and subbed. I'm not even sure where to start. I was planning to go to SDCC finally this year, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen now.

Does anyone know if Kirkman, Adlard and Moore will be at this years SDCC? I would love to see about having someone get my 19 signed by all three and subbed.

Ok so I chatted with Riley today on facebook about possibly sending him some books to sign. It won't be a situation to where they will be signed and sent to CGC to get an SS Grade. *GASP!* I know there are some out there that feel getting a book signed without a certification from CGC makes the books worthless. I guess in a way it can in the resell market. But I'm not concerned about that as I plan to keep the books for myself anyways. I obviously would prefer to have them signed in person, but unfortunately Texas doesn't get any big cons any more other than Wizard World Austin, and he made no mention of making it to that con this year. Now to my point, I asked him that since he is no longer working on Bedlam, could he tell me what he has in the works. He mentioned that he is doing some covers, but did not say for which books. He also mentioned that he is working on a mini series that involves him splitting the art duty with Ben Templesmith. And then he has something else of his own coming out around September. I'm pretty anxious to see what that will be. However, unlike a lot of people, I'm not a fan of Templesmith's art work. *DOUBLE GASP!*, I know. It's just a preference thing. I don't really hate it, it's just not for me personally. But I guess I can overlook it this time to see what Riley will be doing on the series.

Unfortunately I didn't get to see 1-3. So I'm not positive on the condition. But the owner said that they are all in roughly the same condition. All the books I looked at had sharp corners, no bends and no creases in the spine area. 5 had a very small tear at the bottom left corner. But I was surprised at the lack of the usual binary tear on the folder corners. I may go back tomorrow with cash and see if I can talk him into $750. No offense to Charlie but I really love the Tony Moore issues. Of course most do primarily for their value. But I'm a huge Tony Moore fan. If I managed to get back what I spent on my Saga CGC set, I would buy 1-3, 5 & 6. The #6 was in fantastic shape. And I can get it and 5 for $60 each. I got this #4 for $100

My favorite WD issue.

The shop I got it at also have 1-3 5-11 & 19. All in pretty damn good shape. Corners are all sharp and didn't see any real creasing on the spines. It's mostly a gaming shop. Someone traded in their WD collection for Magic cards. I'm trying to get the owner down to $750 on the #1.

I FINALLY got my favorite issue of WD today. I think I over paid just a little, but I'm still happy with it. My favorite cover. The interior story and artwork is fantastic.

Speaking of variants, can someone explain to me the logic behind the price difference of the WD 100 Diamond B&W variant and the WD 100 Escape variant? The WD 100 Diamond B&W variant was sold to retailers and had a print run of 7500. The WD 100 Escape variant was given out to participants of the Walking Dead Escape attraction as SDCC 2012 and it had a print run of over 10,000. Yet the Diamond variant can be bought for $12-20 raw and as low at $50 CGC 9.8 The Escape variant is $100-$150 raw and who know as far as a 9.8.

I personally think this is going to be Morgan's return. Rick knows where a large cache of weapons still are. And now that Morgan knows Rick is still alive, it will give him some time to think about rejoining them. Just a thought. There were a few comic references tonight, not only the reunion with Morgan, but the sharing of psychological breakdowns that Michonne and Rick both have. That was in the comic as well, except Rick was still using the phone.

The "impending doom" covers lately have been nothing more than a tease though. While 111 is a cool looking cover, I'm not getting to worried that anything drastic is going to happen. I dare you Kirkman

One of the kewl things about Tim Vigil is, if he isn't too backed up on commissions, you can bring him a long box of books to sign and he will gladly do so. But seriously, you are in a long line and you hand the artist more than say 5 to 10 books to sign, come on. They are limited in their time usually and usually there is a line of people behind you. Get some done, then go to the back, or better yet, bring a friend and have them stand in line. The last real con I went to was Wizard World Texas 2005. J Scott Campbell put a limit of 3 books, but was still signing up to 10 for some people. Michael Turner was limiting to 3 and stuck with it. Jim Lee (in the middle of the Batman Hush arc) would sign 1 book and do 1 quick profile sketch of Batman and mark the spots that needed filled in with black, then you took it back to him and you both signed the sketch.
