That's the second printing.

Not nearly as rare as the first, but still very collectable, and not super easy to find like the reprint

I've learned that the one listed as a 3rd print may have actually been a pre-release to vendors 1st print version with a card stock cover with less than 1,000 printed.

"The third" is actually the true first printing, with no banner in the upper left corner, and the heavy card stock cover. "one dollar" cover price

There are also two issues that have a banner saying "premier issue" in the upper left corner, one of which has "Summer 74" just under the title.

Both were also sold at a cover price of "one dollar"

Those are both second printings released shortly after the first but in a much larger run. I've heard one was for the USA, and the other Canada

The fourth printing(actually a reprint) came out a couple years later along with reprints of issues 2 and 3.

You can always tell a reprint by two things.

One is the addition of the words "Collectors edition" in the upper left corner banner, and two is the cover price of 1.50

I have all four.

This one seems weird to me.

I like Strange Adventures 50 the best so far.

Is that black stand original? It looks too short to me. Didn't the stand go all the way to the top of the rack?

Says in the ad that he repainted the center stand.

It's the same rack as the one at the top of the page(minus top rack) and it looks like that center piece is only supposed to go up that far.

I might email the guy and see if he's coming to the cities anytime soon.

I'd give him $100 for it and then probably refinish the whole thing.

FF67 is the first appearance(hell, it's his origin too, how do you get more first appearance then that???)

And FF12 is the first hulk/thing battle IMO, I don't care what CGC has to say about either of them.
