  1. I get the pleasure of leaving the first feedback for James! I contacted James regarding one of his posts offering a few beautiful EC's for sale or trade. Being into trading myself, I offered one. Negotiations were a breeze and the books were exchanged without issue and both parties are very happy. James packs your books as though they will be delivered via Pony Express (i.e. well; very well) and ships out fast. Will definitely do more business with James. (thumbs u

  2. Michael has sold me many batches of books over the past few months. All the books were better than described, and the packing was among the best I've ever encountered. He's a great guy and an excellent artist. I wouldn't hesitate to buy more books from him in the future. Thanks!

  3. Hello all,

Not sure why I've taken so long to post in this section, but it is what it is. Too busy hunting down my favorite books. Anyway, I've really enjoyed looking at the work here by fellow boardies and want to finally join the fray.

Comics got me into art as a kid (big surprise, I know) and that lead me to wanting to learn figurative art by way of anatomy. Anyway, I got my serious start 10 years ago at a traditional Fine Arts academy in Connecticut, but switched to a more conceptual "kitschy" type work several years ago. (although I still teach the academic approach) I'm a draftsman and sculptor, but these days the lines get a little blurred. Anyway, I'll post a few examples of both types of my work. I would love to hear your thoughts!

    Thanks for looking!

  4. Richard gave me a great deal on an absolutely gorgeous copy of Catman #32. It's the pride of my collection and I'm forever thankful that he could part with it. (I know I never will...) Great transaction and I would do it again in a minute. Thanks!

  5. Can anyone confirm if Menace #9 is the first instance of having the phrase "the Walking Dead" on a cover? (fingers-crossed)

Congratulations, Jeremy. That's a sweet copy of a great book. :headbang: Unfortunately, Astonishing #10 was published two years earlier.

Yeah, but mine has a capital "T" in "The" - and that makes ALL the difference (at least to me and my wallet). After all, it's not called "the Walking Dead" :baiting:

Now where can I get a copy of Astonishing #10?
