I have a vintage Belloq figure from the Raiders of the Lost Ark toy line that was a mail away in 1981/82.

The figure itself is still sealed, mailer box is included. Box does show wear, there is also a pen mark on the top flap. This piece has been in my collection since the late 90s, stored in a cool, dark basement.

Condition and Grading

I'll describe the condition as best I can with photos, I'm not experienced with detecting restoration but I do not see any signs, if a book you purchase from me is found to have restoration that I did not catch, the book maybe sent back for a refund.

As for grading, I only have experience submitting modern books for grading, I respect and understand that it is completely different than grading between a 8.0 and 9.0. I’m also going with the grade description from when I purchased the book. Please see photos for condition and feel free to ask any questions.

Won two books, sent a payment reminder almost a week later, then responded saying he would pay almost three weeks later. Did not communicate his intention or ask if this would be okay with me. After the order was canceled he messaged me asking if he could still buy the books as he always wanted them. eBay gives you four days, I gave him six. Later on he messaged again asking if he could still purchase them, then tried to be funny by mentioning that I was the one now not communicating. Some people’s kids. On the bright side, the next highest bidder accepted the second chance offer.

I’m selling this copy of Action Comics #432, this once sat in a CGC Universal 9.8 holder, WHITE Pages. I cracked this out because I sent it in for a ReHolder but noticed the pages would shift while the cover stayed in place up when tilting the slab. This damage happened during shipping. The cover is still attached
 

The book still presents well and still has the micro chamber paper insert. This book will also come in a Mylar sleeve. I have taken lots of pictures, if you purchase and are not satisfied, you may send it back for a refund minus shipping. I also did not do any restoration after I cracked it out.

A good question and a great example with EC! I don’t have a problem with file copies at all and agree it should be notated on the CGC label because of the association with the publisher. Like you, I’d take an EC Copy anytime. I always thought of the difference between file copies and pedigrees as one being set aside by those in the publishing office, or more so overstock over collections assembled by an individual collector who bought each issue new from a newsstand. As I type this, I’m thinking about how this can be discussed and debated. So, the short answer to your question is that I do not think they are worse. 

I’m not sure how I feel about this. I never considered or thought of file copies as pedigrees.

Did some eBay shopping this week, picked out two books from two different sellers. Both books arrived today, and both were the wrong book! When I opened the first package, I was like whaaaat?! Then when I opened the second package all I could do was laugh out loud.
