Revival 1 CGC SS 10 Gem Mint !!!!! Movie Announced by Shatterglass Films. Just Google "Revival Comic Movie" and look for yourself. A teaser trailer was also made. Hard to let this on go. The comic has been optioned for a live-action movie adaptation from independent production company Shatterglass Films, and already has its first teaser trailer. The announcement was made at a panel where the filmmakers showed a surprise teaser trailer to the room of fans. “Part of what’s so exciting about working with a company like Shatterglass is that not every comic story needs to be a hundred million dollar plus movie nor should they be. Teaming up independent comics with an independent film production company just makes sense,” said Seeley. This Book will SKY once movie is made, it's the only Gem CGC SS 10 out there in the WORLD. All these TV series out there, Can't wait for Revival, Finally.
  5. Really took forever to find one, thx..
  6. Well I got in line and it paid off..Finally, a 9.8 with my 9.6's...
  7. Those numbers are astounding. Putting in higher highs for two years now. I remember a bunch of folks complaining about missing this one and how it was too late to fork out $2K for a Near Mint/Mint slab. Turns out there ended up still being 50% ROR on the table. And its not like liquidity was thin in 2014. Plenty always up for auction on ebay and BIN/BOs as well. I remember Walking Dead 1 CGC 9.8 when it was $1,000. My argument to support for Walking Dead #1 was there was only 7,000 printed. That`s mega-rare compared to all the other keys. Think about that 7,000 printed with millions of fans. I can`t think of any other key that has such a low print run with so many fans other than TMNT #1, and we know what the prices of TMNT #1 are now. Well said, totally agree. I Remember when the 9.8 was selling for $2000 recently, now up a dime to $3000, but people still think the bubble is bursting , nice try.
  8. Have two 9.6's, would trade them + cash for a 9.8, always wanted a 9.8 hard to find.
  9. That's why I wrote Anther Problem again..thx
  10. Jesus, another problem again with EBay User name: Turtleman402 with one of our Boardie Members. I told him to come here and post th issue from eBay. Does anyone know the Boardie name on here for eBay user name: Turtleman402 , this guy is a real piece of work, BLOCK HIM...
  11. Make it 10, and I am looking for another 9.8 Black Label, anyone know where I can find another?
  12. People were saying the same thing 3 years ago... Clearly they were wrong. 3 years ago WD was in season what, 2 ? Things were going well for the show. It was in full swing and interesting. Past tense. Also 3 years ago people were saying WD 1 9.8 would likely be selling for 5K by now. Ummm.... no. I I work for law enforcement and work with hundreds of people. Not one person I talk with is getting tired of the show. In fact they like the show better every season. I don't know what some of you guys are talking about. The show has over 15 million people watching it every week. It's the only show that I consistently hear people talking about and people love this show. The only time I ever hear negative comments about the walking dead is on this website and other comic websites. I also hear some bad comments at my LCS. So besides comic guys I have NEVER heard one person say anything bad about the show. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but the show is not close to ending. I think Kirkman mentioned he has enough material already written for 12 seasons. The TV show will most likely be on for at least 6 more years and who knows it could go on for 15 or more seasons. Plus I'm sure once it does end they will probably have a Walking Dead movie. I have heard the same song and dance comments on this website about how this show stinks and will be ending soon. Well it's not going to happen for many years folks. The ratings are incredible and the general public loves the show. For every comic guy who disses the show there are thousands of regular guys/gals that love the show. One more thing I keep hearing some of you dissing the comic and claiming the price is going to go way down. Well I’m glad I did not listen to any of you because the price has been going up the last couple of years. According to GPA the 2014 average price for a CGC 9.8 copy was $1,982. The 2015 average price was $2,075 and the current 90 average price is $2,424. The last copy sold went for $2,900. Issue #2 will now cost you around $1,100 to obtain. The current 90 average price is $1,179. Plus for those of you who read the wanted to buy forum you will see ample collectors trying to get some of the tougher issues to find and they are offering over 200% of GPA for some issues. Bottom Line: The Walking Dead is HOT. The comic is one of the best comics to hit the stands each month and the TV show is one of the most popular shows on TV. Of course some people don’t like it but the overwhelming majority of people do and that means the show and comic will be around for a long time. Couldn't of stated it better Interesting. Personally, I couldn't have stated it better. -slym Don't tell me you , oops, your, oops again, you are, damn oops again, you're one of them oops..

  14. Anyone know where that auction was on here recently for that WD#1 Black Label, was thinking of another one..I can't find it.
  15. what part of "3-4 years from now" did you not understand ? Too many people will have (and probably have already ) bought in at much higher than $1500 for that to be likely. The book has transcended speculation a long time ago. One of the few books that got an alternative media bump to do so. It's legitimately mainstream now. When the show eventually does and there will be additional spin-offs, theatrical releases, reboots, syndication, etc. Kirkman has also said that the comic will continue on long after the show ends. Speaking of the actual comic- it is a bona fide "run title" as well now (no pun intended). Collectors will not be selling the #1 out of their sets very lightly. I don't claim to predict what a book will or won't be worth in four years because external factors having nothing to do with the show or the title can impact that. But as a comic, a franchise, and a piece of pop culture, with crossover appeal Walking Dead is as about as rock solid of a success story as you're going to get in this hobby. Period, exclamation point. (so if you don't already have one, get one, especially if you're a fan) -J. +1 Well said! +2 , agreed, very well said. i think the problem is that people who don't like Moderns to begin with or like their older comics, just can't see how well a Modern is especially a major hit as the Walking Dead. This book will grow and grow, DEAD never dies, but we will.
