That's exactly what I said when I saw the contents of the box. Who would leave this behind? There was a few other New 52 comics in there, there was a Batman #4 1:25 Variant, Suicide Squad #6 & 7 Nightwing #2 & 4, Justice Leage #1 5th & 6th prints & #2.

Only if he got a good price... A couple weeks ago a co worker was telling me that he got some Comics from a house his brother recently bought. He was helping him do some work in the basement and his brother asked him if he wanted these Comics that were left by the previous owner and his brother told him if he didn't take them he was going to throw them away. My co worker knew I collected comics so he took them so he could give them to me. After I saw them I told him all of these are key issues and they're worth some money. He said cool if you want them there yours. I tried to give him $360 for them because that was all the cash I had on me but he only took $100. In total I got about 60 to 80 Comics from him and everything in the box was a Key Issue and everything was bagged and boarded.

I picked these up a couple days ago.

I recently picked these up in a trade they're both complete #45 is in VG-(3.5) to VG(4.0) condition and #46 is in F/VF(7.0) to VF-(7.5) condition.

I did eMail him and I told him that both books were complete and I explained to him what Mark Jeweler's inserts were. I also asked him if he wanted me pay for the 2nd book now that we know it's complete. He told me we'll square up when I meet with him next month to buy the rest of his collection.

Damn that was Good Deal!! I thought I got a good deal earlier this week but this one blows mine away!! A few days ago I picked up 2 Very High Grade Copies of New Mutants #98 for $200. The seller had 2 of them but he told me that one of them wasn't complete because he pulled the centerfold out of it back when he originally purchased them so he could order some stuff from it. He Sold me the Complete Copy for $200 and gave me the other 1 for FREE because he said it wasn't complete!! When I got home I pulled the one that was supposed to be missing the centerfold to count the pages to make sure it was only missing the Center Fold. Well it turns out both copies were 100% complete because both Copies were Mark Jewlers Insert Variants!! The 2nd Copy wasn't missing the centerfold it was only missing the Mark Jewlers Insert!! The Mark Jeweler Insert Variant is in NM+(9.6) Condition and the other one looks stunning it's a Solid NM/MT(9.8)!!

Very Nice!! I wish I had to 2 copies of ASM #3!! Is the new one complete? By the way I think I still hold the Title of Owning the Ugliest ASM #3 Known to Man!! Mine is missing the back cover and the staples have been removed but the interior is 100% complete so that's a plus.

I posted a picture of 1 of my CGC 9.6's and a few raw copies a while back. I finally started going through my collection and started to organize it pulling all the Key Issues and grouping them together. Here's a few more of my ASM #300 I have 4 CGC 9.6's 2 CGC 9.4's and I have around 6 to 9 Raw Copies and I have 1 Mini Reprint CGC 9.6.

I agree with you on it being one of the best MK covers. This thing looks amazing in hand, the scan doesn't due this book justice. This is the 4th copy I've seen of it but it's the 1st one I've seen in person. I saw 2 of them on eBay years ago and I saw your CGC 9.8 copy that you posted in this thread. The 2 I saw sell on eBay they were listed back in 2010 or early 2011 they sold within a month of each other. Both of those copies sold right away and they were both Buy it Now listings. That's how I found out about this Variant and I've been searching for one ever sense. I'm glad I finally found one.

Here's my original owner copies of Harbinger #1!! I purchased 6 of them when it was released but I recently sold 2 of them. On the CGC 9.6 CGC marked that the coupon is missing but the coupon is still intact on this copy. This one was manufactured with a completely blank coupon inside it.

I still have mine!! Here's some scans of it, the photo's I posted a long time ago don't do this book justice. It's the nicest copy I've ever seen in hand/up close. I've been wanting to get it pressed and grade for years now I've just never got around to it. Well I guess I'm more scared that it'll get a bad press job and lower the grade of it. That's probably why I haven't done it yet. It's a beaut! Why mess with it? The only reason I wanted to get it pressed is because it has 2 minor non color breaking spine ticks on it. The spine ticks can be seen in the scans one is by Spiderman's elbow below the cover price and the other one is on the Punisher's elbow. Over all it is a Great looking book it's centered perfectly, it has perfect corners all 4 are really sharp, the outer/opening edges look perfect, the spine is really nice, the staples are centered perfectly on the side of the spine, and it has white pages. I'll probably end up just keeping it raw and if I do decide to get it graded I'll probably just send it in as is.

Mine has everyone's beat for ugliest copy as it's missing the back cover and the staples have been removed. At least the interior is 100% complete, but like you said it's nice to have a copy in any condition and I'm very happy to own this one.

Here's one I recently picked up that's not on the list.

All Star Comics is my LCS, I always go there for everything and I also found some nice Mark Jewelers comics in their back issue bins recently(within the last 3 weeks). I picked up a ASM #201 + 202, Avengers #195 + 196, X-Factor #24 + Marvel Tales #98 + #106. A lot of the ASM's, Captain Americas, and Daredevils that are in their Dollar Bins are also Mark Jewelers.

The Black and White Hastings Variant isn't available on the Hastings Website anymore they Pre-Sold them on their Website last week and they Sold Out within hours of it being listed. My Local Hasting would only hold 1 of these Variants for me when I called them yesterday to ask if they would hold 3 of them for me. The only reason they were willing to hold 1 for me is because that's where I have my pulled list set up. If I didn't have a subscription with them they wouldn't have held 1 for me. Also some of the People at Hastings told me that they Pre-Sold 1,000 of them online and then they divided the remaining 500 copies up among their 90 stores. Most of the stores only got 3-6 copies with the larger stores getting up to 15 copies my Local Hasting is one of the larger Stores and they got 13 copies. There's 5 Hastings within 75 miles of me and I called them all to see if they had any available for sale and 4 of the stores told me that one person came in when they opened this morning and bought all the copies they had available for sale. Today was the first day they were supposed to be available for sale in their stores as they wanted to save them for the Free Comic Book Day Event.

It was recalled because it had an add for a TPB of a Mature Readers Comic in it. The Regular Cover didn't have that add only the Subscription Variant had the Add. The publisher felt that an Add for a Mature Readers Comic didn't belong in a Kids Comic. Plus the Add for the Mature Readers Comic was out of date. The add was for a TPB that came out in 2011. This Variant also has a corrected version of it without the add. If both of your books have the exact same contents inside than you have the corrected Variant not the Recalled Variant. It's something very similar to the Scooby Doo Where are You! #7 Advert Error.
