  1. Hi Earl- Those Titans look sharp What was the price on those puppies.
  2. Holy hell, thanks bro! How tall (in inches) is that Nightcrawler? I'll have to hunt one of these up on eBay. Thanks again I'm not sure in actual inches, but with the base, it's slightly taller than the wolverine in your pic. Do an Ebay search for "Marvel Collectors Club" and you'll see what it looks like. Also, my LCS has a beautiful Angel statue for sale. It's unlicensed but gorgeous. About the same size or slightly bigger than thr Colossus statue.
  3. That auction seemed very tricky. Shows the 35cent comic, but the auction is for 35 books. Sends the regular 30 cent issue. The picture was mis-leading, but never in the auction description does he mention any variants.
  4. Great stautes Steve. I collect statues as well and have all the ones in your pic. If you are just doing X-Men, check out the Nightcrawler through Marvel Collector's Club. They also have a Psylocke. Also there is the X-Men/Sentinel series where every X-Men is posed on a piece of destroyed Sentinel. That series has Wolverine, Rogue, Gambit and Magneto. Lastly, there is also a Pslocke vs Danger room piece.
  5. Theagenes- GREAT post. I grew up and started collecting during this period. I remember the buzz that Conan #1 generated during this period. I agree with you that this book marks the starting point for the Bronze Age. I also remember at the time that many other collectors were feeling the same way. We didn't realize there was a change happening at the time, we just knew that the comics we were reading were somehow different. Hindsight allows us 20/20 vision and history gives us the oppotunity to analyze the details, but to me Conan #1 epitomizes the beginning of the Bronze age. Whether other books were similar and printed a few months earlier or later, they just don't capture the moment the way Conan #1 does. Theagenes, I'm looking foward the reading more of your posts.
