  1. Agreed. If they go with a yellow label, the pristine Signature Series is dead.
  2. First "Power Man." Rare George Tuska signature. Thanks to Sean Fingh for selling me this one a few years ago.
  3. In honor of Keith Giffen, who passed away on Monday, I present these two highest-graded signature series Defenders. One of my favorite runs, written by David Anthony Kraft, who passed away during COVID, but also signed the books before he got sick.
  4. And I long ago had this Western Penn pedigree signed by the creators of this comic.
  5. Anyone know the date that this is scheduled for?
  6. I have two books shipped, scheduled to arrive here on Monday.
  7. I don’t understand this question?
  8. And I almost forgot about this one. Bought it with Mazzucchelli’s signature certified on page 1, then added Miller’s sig to it.
  9. To answer your question about the prospects of getting another CGC-certified signature from Mazz, it ain’t looking good. A few years ago, he was announced as a speaker at an event, and it became known that he would sign some comics. But his hard-and-fast rule was that none of them could be submitted to CGC. Rich Henn attended and got a bunch of comics signed, but none of them were certified.
  10. I did the same thing with this one, although I sold it to another boardie 3-4 years ago.
  11. I bought this one with just Mazzucchelli’s signature and added Miller’s to it. 😁
  12. I was there yesterday morning. I thought it was a professional, well-run con. It was geared toward autographs and sketches, as I found there was not as deep a selection of back issue comics as I would have expected. I was looking for five early issues of Alan Moore’s Swamp Thing (albeit, not a hot series) and only found one. It wasn’t like I was seeking a random issue of some golden age title. But I had Klaus Janson and Joe Jusko sign some books for me. Captured Collectibles did a terrific, professional job of witnessing and accepting the books for a yellow label. And everyone was in a good mood.
  13. No, because they don’t yet know the cost of each signature. They have been incredibly responsive through Facebook Messenger. They confirmed for me that my books are logged in and ready to go.
  14. Okay, I just remembered that I contacted them via Facebook Messenger and they were VERY responsive. I just messaged them again today and they responded within 2 minutes. As I said, this is the first time I will be using them, but I have been pleased with their responsiveness so far.
  15. I have never used them before, but they responded quickly to my inquiry and I sent them a bunch of books for C2E2. I’ll let you know how they do.
  16. Both Captured Collectibles and Rich Henn were there last year. I think Rich may not be going this year, though.
  17. Thanks, Sean. Seattle has changed a lot in 16 years, that may explain the lack of interest…
  18. Any facilitators attending ECCC? I have looked but have not found anyone...
  19. Steranko appeared at the Little Giant Comics Old School Comic Show in April 2022. He signed my Daredevil 44. I have seen him listed on at least one guest list for a convention coming up in 2023, but I can't remember where. Chances are there will be a facilitator available to get his signature for you somewhere this year.
  20. I may be wrong but I think Agents of Slab will be at Fan Expo SF.
  21. I bought this one for $150 before the movie was announced, then had it signed by McGregor and Buckler. Then the movie became a smash hit and Buckler passed away. One-of-a-kind.
  22. If you can set this up and get her to sign my books too, dinner is on me.
  23. Anyone facilitating?
