  1. thats a garbage book, nyx 3 is the book to own. Its the X-men 201 argument. It will hold a value. It will be around a $20 book for awhile maybe even bump a little higher as NYX 3 keeps climbing. I am not sure this is a Retcon. To date I have not heard a definitive answer concerning this comic and if Marvel has ever explained. I have a vague memory of Wizard discussing the book but beyond that who knows. People like to discount the importance of this comic and yes no one should ever try and sell it as the first appearance of X-23 but it sure seems like a key book to me. As far as Earp, it's on the wrong channel. Put it on AMC and see what happens. ...except if a person actually read Wolverine 80 and is familiar with Laura's actual origin (of her creation) , they would know that the "X-23" on that test tube is just a coincidence and has nothing to do with her. -J. But if I read my comics I won't be able to put "In Mylar NEVER TOUCHED BY HUMAN HANDS" in my eBay listing.
  2. Can I pump The Massive yet? We need a Brian Wood TV show and I don't think DMZ is going to make it.
  3. So what happened with Justice League #40 variant? $100 to $50 OBO in a week?
  4. Exactly. So how is it "heating up" here?? It's him trying to sell copies at $40-45 which is what they set the price as. The store that has the exclusive store made that price because it is there variant. Is Batman #51 heating up because copies are selling for 100% asking price at $4?
  5. But that's the store who made the variants asking price. That isn't heating up. That is overcharging for a cover and then saying it's a great deal to buy them for one of the two people who have them in stock. A store variant heating up would be when Phantom/Larry sold Wayward #1 B&W for cover price and they were $40-50 on eBay.
  6. How can something be heating up at $45 when the store owner is the one charging $45 or whatever the price is??
  7. Are we still complaining about how many covers a comic has? How many can possibly be printed of 4 Kids to have the amount of variants that it has? C2E2, Wondercon, ECCC, Ghost, Jesse James, Fried Pie, French Connection?, Rick's Comic City (City of God homage), New Wave, Ssalefish, Get Carter homage.
  8. Yeah dude! No wonder I've been finding good books at Fat Jack's over the last several months Hah yeah. I no longer live at 21st and Chestnut. A few thousand miles away. Are they still restocking Batman #3-11 1st prints?
  9. The last time I set up at that show was about a year and a half ago..... I went there last month.Didn't find all that much...got a run of Boys #1-10 for a quarter a piece, though. I live 30 minutes away, so it's usually worth the trip. I'll be there next month, just walking the room. You should introduce yourself, if you see me. I've met you before. I probably bought stuff from you too. I bought a lot from Carl and Tim. I actually moved to Seattle about 9 months ago though.
  10. They were at ECCC with a stack of every cover. I don't see this lasting long. There were only 100 of the pants down variant.. It looks very similar to the Trix variant except for... Well except for a minor detail The covers just remind me too much of the Ron English cereal figures he came out with before. They box says the same stuff as these covers about diabetes and heart disease.
