  1. Here’s the lone book. She’s a dandy. Maybe one of the toughest mainstream GA books, particularly in grade. This is a book I track with focus, and I’ve only seen a couple (like, literally, two) as nice in a 10-year span. First Fiddler. First Star Sapphire. Last issue. Just a wonderful book.
  2. Just one book tonight. Here da rulez: 1. PayPal or certified check only. 2. First unconditional claim posted in the sales thread wins the book. A post in the thread takes precedence over any PM sale that might be agreed to but not yet posted to the sales thread. 3. Shipping at a flat $20 within the US (USPS...have to keep funds heading their way...so scary what's happening there, but I digress). Canada, UK or Australia, please inquire. I'll follow your directions, within reason, but shipping determined individually outside the US. Will be bubbled and handled with care. Check my kudos for a few unprompted references to my packing. 4. Insurance not included. If you fancy that, let's chat through what you need before we finalize price and you send payment. 5. For slabbed books, CGC has already looked them over. You know what you're getting. No returns, as a result on those dandies. 6. For raw books, I've done my best. I tried to grade conservatively. I'll take returns, but you have to pay the shipping back to me. If you want to return a raw book, you've got to return the whole goldarn lot. Will not do swaps/exclusions on singles. Otherwise, all good. 7. For slabbed books, assume pressed, unless otherwise mentioned. For raw books, assumed unpressed and au naturel, unless otherwise mentioned. 8. I'd be open to time payments, as many kind boardies have provided me with same. 9. No HOS or probation boardies. I also reserve the right to refuse to sell to anyone for any reason. Sorry, in advance, for the glare. All pics from my phone and a less-than-amateur hand. I am a straight-shooter. I've been on the boards for several years - doing decent sized transactions without hassle. Happy to provide references, if you need. My kudos thread is referenced in my signature, if needed. I think that's it. Here we go.
  3. So, on to this auction now? Still licking my wounds from all the missed Promises. Hoping for better luck here.
  4. Agreed. Just silly to bid on any Flash Comics. I’m surprised HA will even sell them. Move along, move along...
  5. No Flash 96, though every other book around that is listed. Wonder if some are getting plucked? Also, what did the Flash 104 1.5 sell for?
  6. I’m a tad late to the #1 party, but here’s mine. Such a cool title.
  7. I had dabbled in most genres, but didn’t hit Crime until recently (last two years or so). Couldn’t pass this pretty thing up.
  8. Flash 96 is extremely tough. No doubt about it. This one presents great for the grade.
  9. I want to upgrade my Flash Comics #1. I own a tremendous 2.0, but I’m after a 5.0-6.0. Someday.
  10. Stellar. Love these boards. Thanks for hunting this down.
  11. Fair take, completely. You and Bedrock are both wise fellers.
  12. I took the plunge. Too interesting not to bid...at least for me. Might have burnt that money, but qualities here that are intriguing.
  13. They look old, real. I have them in hand now. All are swipes, but not sure that’s surprising. But were they production for an old bootleg? Maybe. Not sure. They’re interesting, though.
  14. I didn’t avoid. I bought them. Perhaps regretfully.
  15. No sure where best to post this, but trying here. Does anyone know what these are? I bought these off eBay. The guy said he picked them up 30+ years ago from an estate sale in Northern NJ, along with other pieces from the 40s. These are original art on card stock. They’re 5-3/4 by 6-3/4 inches.Three of the backs have a stamp on them (two shown below). There was also a Batman, Joker, and Wonder Woman, which I didn’t get. Fronts: A few backs: Flash Superman The guy said another bidder reached out and said another person on eBay sold a bunch of similar cards last Spring. That bidder picked up a Penguin at that time. Here’s an image: Does anyone know what these are? Was there a card set made circa ‘43, ‘44 (basing that off the Batman and Joker images)? If there was, what other cards were made. What I have seems like production art, but not sure. Any information would be appreciated.
