  1. Whatever you need to tell yourself. Whatever yourself. The movie came out April 4. eBay doesn't let you go back that far to my knowledge. Captain America 6, 1st Winter Solider sold for $200 when the movie dropped. Now you can buy it for $15. You're going to claim a $20 book now wasn't selling for $30 when the movie came out? I definitely don't remember any $200 raw sales, but I remember 9.8s getting up to $300 or so.
  2. Wow that's crazy! I went from booth to booth looking to pick up copies and a few of the dealers threw out $90 at me. I haggled and got about 4-5 copies in VF-VF+ for about $35/40 ea. Watch out for the copies with the "printer defect" small tears at the bottom. And yes, the book continues to rise even as the weeks go by. What kind of grade drop will these tears cause? If a book looks like it would otherwise grade 9.8 but has these tears, what will it grade? They don't drop the grade. Look up graded 9.8s on eBay, you can find several copies with several tears along the bottom edge. I can confirm this. My friend got 3x 9.8s back that all had this.
  3. CBLDF had several package options, some which allowed a store to order 10 copies of the Variant.
  4. That seller is an insufficiently_thoughtful_person I've seen a few guys get pinched for pre-selling product they didn't have, or couldn't get. One even got kicked off Ebay for too many complaints.
  5. They seem to have fixed the auto mail outs. They sent me a tracking number today
  6. Finally got some movement. MST 7/24 - Just entered Quality Control MST 8/20 - Just turned to "Graded".
  7. No more copies available on the Conquest website. They were sold out before it was released. Nah, they had some for sale afterwards. They jacked up the price, though. I think I even saw some last week when I looked.
  8. That episode was better than the entire last season.
  9. I banged a chick in a graveyard once. That's kind of scary, right?
  10. I doubt a movie producer read one issue and said "Here's a sack with a dollar sign on it." He probably got a full pitch from Snyder.
  11. Enjoyed the first issue. I didn't feel that Jock "Phoned it in" at all, and thought the art suited the story very well. The essay at the end was superb, and I like the idea that Witches as we've historically known them were not the "Wytches" themselves, but worshipers of the actual Wytches. There was even some good comedic moments in the book.
  12. Laurel is the most annoying character on the show. Possibly tied with Thea.
  13. In the case of Magazines, I've been told that they encapsulate those once a week. I guess they have like 2 machines, and in order to do Mags they have to switch the settings on a machine. So they don't have one dedicated for Magazines, they just switch the settings once a week to do them.
  14. ComixXposure has 10 sets of #4 currently for sale on their ebay store. $60 a set if you want a set. NYCC #4 Enormous What's the price on them supposed to be at the show?
  15. Annoying. My 7/24 MST Sub hasn't even hit QC yet, but some people who had their books received 2 weeks later are zooming past me.
  16. WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT. I AM GOING TO TEAR THIS PLACE APART WITH MY ANGER
  17. I usually find myself agreeing with Larry here and this case is no different. We have 100% confirmation from Diamond that they "lost the books in our warehouse." This is not confined to Enormous or 215INK. That is why I've taken to posting shots of me with the book. Proof they were done printed and shipped to their warehouse weeks ago. This is depressing for 3 reasons. 1. Because this isn't the first time they've botched a release date on this book. 2. Because of the nature of diamond's monopoly it's tough to call them in to account for it. 3. I've been told some of the talent on the book are Vancouver based, in which case I'm also sad to see some local talent experiencing these problems.
  18. I'm interested to know where in the supply chain things are going wrong. How is your book specifically a problem for them? They seem to get everything else out on time, mostly, but Enormous has had this problem more than once now. Are you guys sending books without a manifest or something? Did you call one of their receivers a 2 years ago?
  19. MST from 7/24 - Sitting at Graded MST from 8/20 - Sitting at received still. Close to 6 weeks and hasn't even been verified.
  20. Power of the speculation blog http://comicbookspeculation.blogspot.ca/2014/10/101-dakoit-undervalued-pick-ex-machina-1.html I've had #1-25 in a set for $15 at local shows for months now, and nobody has even looked twice at them. Always thought it was weird this was the only BKV series people didn't ask me for.
