  1. while Margot seems to be getting a lot of the credit here, Greta and Noah should get most of it
  2. I was at a small comic show a couple weeks ago and asked some dealers if they had seen Barbie and they all said a resounding "no" I said that I wanted to see it and they all looked at me strangely and said "really???" I said sure, why wouldn't I want to go see Margot Robbie for 2 hours on the big screen. Of course there are other reasons (I'm looking at you Ryan Gosling! JK) I like the director, I enjoyed the movie she made Frances Ha! (writer with Noah Baumbach from the Squid and the Whale) and Lady Bird
  3. so did you take this time to reflect on what you did @VintageComics to prevent the next strike?
  4. the problem Disney/Marvel has had goes back to the decisions made to make these movies/tv shows (fit) they made decisions that didn't go with the original story of the character and we are now seeing the results of those decisions they paint themselves into corners and then the pieces no longer fit anyone confident they will know how to fit the x-men (mutants) into this mess? didn't they determine ms marvel is a mutant or hint at it look at what they've done in the past few years, zero confidence
  5. how quickly everyone forgets the mess of Doctor Strange and Spider-man 3.
  6. it did pick up but then everyone is standing around while the two main characters face each other down this show is dumb
  7. what a surprise Sam Jackson playing Sam Jackson in another role totally the same thing I felt/saw in that episode how he continues to get work is baffling to me
  8. Stan Lee is the daddy issue for some of the comic book collectors
  9. i think for this show especially, tighten it up, tell "the" story, no need to talk about things that aren't relevant to the point.make 4 great episodes instead of 6 mediocre ones this story should feel like an action movie, it seems more like grumpy old men meets aliens
  10. i believe you are right, they have movie concepts that they are trying to make into shows, in some cases extending the storylines to fill up more episodes (see falcon show) the other part is that no one cares for their personal lives, let alone made up ones that make zero sense (again see falcon) to the narrative of the show
  11. seriously Marvel/Disney+? I'm going to be gone for a couple of years "no problem honey"
  12. to be fair, Batman has always had a great cast of villains compared to other heroes
