  1. @lizards2 aren't you the one who's supplying the open slabs? you may want to get a lawyer
  2. what's ironic is that for someone who questions how people can blindly accept "authorities seal of approval" on things, you seemed to have a more lenient view on peoples ignorance when it comes to CGC slabs
  3. I think people accept that most people wouldn't be able to tell the difference the hard part is why a "dealer" would not be able to tell the difference or try and educate himself before making a purchase of this size
  4. At what point does the buyer have the responsibility to do some due diligence on a purchase of this size? at 100k, 250k, 1,000,0000? regardless of "the CGC case", shouldn't the buyer do some research? whether they have an eye or not, shouldn't people educate themselves if they are going to buy and sell books let alone books of this value most dealers may not be looking for "fradulent slabs" but they are looking out for ways not to get ripped off.
  5. Ezra Miller - the most feared man in hollywood hide your kids, hide your wife
  6. Did I stumble upon an anti Hollywood thread I wonder what it’s like to live in a glass house
  7. it appears most people are enjoying this for the former and not the latter. I've thought the show has been ok for the most part and thought this last episode started to hit on Joel's storyline more part of why I think this show has been so well received is that the quality of other shows recently has been so poor
  8. I would think if you are paying 50k for a book, or anything similar $ wise you'd take the time to ensure what you are buying is not a fake if you are concerned about fakes, better to pay more from a trusted and established seller (of which there are a ton of) I cannot tell you the # of times I've seen an amazing fantasy 15 (or similar) listed on CL, FB that the price seems to good to be true I never made an attempt to contact because it was more a gamble that a "miracle buy" the CGC label and case should not be a reason for people for them not to do their homework not trying to be harsh, but people do your due diligence when making substantial purchases
  9. it could be true, but I probably wouldn't be saying it so proudly
  10. maybe the general public but this is the Avengers - top 3 team in the comic universe it's a solid foundation moving forward
  11. find this a little hard to believe he comes across as whiny in the trailers but i guess we shall see fan of Rudd so will check this out
  12. love they used the old batman theme in the scene with batman jumping down and everyone giving Gunn props here. This movie was made way before he was handed the reigns. some changes were made but those involved removing aquaman and wonder woman so let's not start giving him credit when he hasn't done a damn thing
  13. DC has taken it's comic approach to the movies. Just reboot it.
  14. there was a way to make the existing foundation work, starting a new universe 15 years after iron man when MCU is already seeing diminishing returns on invested properties is a tremendous mistake Amazon/Apple will be buying DC/WB 2 years into Gunns tenure
  15. so the plan here is let's take a universe that was loved by smaller group of passionate people (compared to MCU) get rid of it, because in order to get MCU #'s we need to start again but instead of focusing on the things people like (a list characters) or keep the people loved (Gal Gadot, Henry Cavill) let's dump all of it and focus on properties no one (general non comic book public) is aware of because nothing builds a universe like a bunch of no name heros/villians got it
  16. they stopped giving those out. You'll be given your own forum or credit for pressing services
