I agree it's mainly about fatigue, but some people want to write the narrative about how a type of content is being forced and this is the general public rejecting it the problem is when Endgame ended, they were left with b level characters, and instead of building them up, they just threw them against the wall they have no original ideas, the ideas they have are all taken from previous storylines, existing comic stories and made to fit in a universe that has been painted into a corner based on what they created from the start no mutants, no FF they have created a bigger mess with the multiverse so let me hear what they should have done after endgame what are the movies they should have made? because none of the ones that Disney/Marvel made worked - same for the tv shows - what should they have done instead? what was left to choose from? BP2 was going to fail without it's star and they probably should have scrapped it They doubled down on Thor because of the love for the previous movie, which I thought was a mistake for the character they made bad decisions on the movies for 4 and now 5 - it's a complete mess from a creative story and cohesive world and it's only going to get worse what outside of FF/X-men does anyone look forward to? Kang?

i've been saying this about Marvel movies for a while, they have stopped being original for quite some time, the production has gone down, and so has the writing but these characters when they were announced some time ago weren't going to generate the interest that the previous group had The disney formula is in most of the movies (from the first iron man), you just didn't notice it because it was new, it was shiny (good acting/writing/production) but its grown old and tired add in a villain (kang, he who remains, etc) that no sure anyone really understands or cares enough about, you have zero reason to want to see these movies as a casual fan (vs how will they stop someone who wants to get rid of half the population) - what is the fear with Kang? someone explain it in a simple sentence in addition to so much output by multiple studios on multiple platforms (fatigue) and I think @Dr. Balls mentioned the last piece some time ago, why should i spend almost $20 per person (not including snacks) when I may have an equally impressive set up at home. you have to create something new, original or spectacular experience for many people to go to the movies I love the movies and I love going to see them but it's way to expensive for a product that is too mediocre

not sure what i missed that everyone seems to have enjoyed this show, but to me this was a mess and again why should i care about Kang? this has not moved the needle in any way

for every ebay story there is always another side of the story that people never talk about when they create these threads as an example I had someone ask if would except price X for a book, I said yes and reduced the price of the book they said they were going to look at other books to see if i would combine, i said sure go ahead a couple days later i ask if they still want the book that i lowered the price of so they could purchase ($15 to $10 by the way) and they said they still wanted the book but could not purchase until 11/1. they then asked me to raise the price back up which i did not the book sold on 10/31 and the person interested contacted me upset that i had not raised the price of the book so he could purchase the next day (today)

Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike news
jsilverjanet replied to Bosco685's topic in The Movie Forum
well I would argue that QBs on average are risking their health (especially long term) and their work window is much shorter, and the job pool is limited (32 open positions) which would justify some of the salaries numbers -
