Health issues are not getting any better, and this was a tough sell even by the show to convince him to roll in for 2 hrs. I'll keep you posted! It's probably a little unfair to say that having been a client with CGC for 22 years and a CGC signature series facilitator for 20 years, I probably had the advantage of knowing who to call on a Sunday night and they would pick up. Had I been unaware of the bad actor utilizing my account (It's been a minute since I frequented the boards), who's to say who this person may have swindled. Although, personally I think the paypal address he laid out for payment was a major red flag. Now that it's Monday and people at CGC are back to work, I'm currently working hand in glove to let the proper channels know what happened, how it happened, and that it won't be able to happen again. Ultimately, there needs to be a second verification like a link to follow, a text link, something to verify that you are who you say you are looking to make changes to an account.

You know it's wild. I haven't posted on the message boards in ages. All of a sudden some hackster hijacks my account and start slinging around AF-15s? And look at that email address boy that's not too third world country. At any rate thanks to my connections with my team that I work hand in glove with CGC we were able to get in front of this together and God bless them on a Sunday night as well. My bigger problem and this is a warning to all of you guys out there; CGC just authorized this nudnick nobody my account with a new email address and a new password without verifying it at all. In other words for example, I did receive an email from ComicConnect claiming somebody with my account information was trying to change the email address. And what comic connect said was " if this was you click on the below link. If this was not you just ignore the email. ". My disappointment is that CGC did none of those things and I'm going to have a conversation with them on the phone tomorrow about this. This is a serious problem. Spider turtle if you're listening I hope you didn't send that guy any money
