  1. Super DC Giant 25 CGC 9.4 I agree. I'm thrill bidding on ComicLink war books from now on.
  2. Superworld per the "This week in your collection" thread.
  3. They are backlogged for some reason. So, I just told them to hold the book until the next round of books are over. Whudgyagit? Super DC Giant 25 CGC 9.4

  5. Labels are switched. Greggy wins. What do I do about this? Do I ship them back on my dime and they fix the problem and ship them back to me on their dime. Or do I have to pay for shipping both ways? They paid for my shipping both ways when they did it once. Go contact Steve or Gemma.
  6. Kudos for Bigfiver for some nice HOS books and Unexpecteds.
  7. Business or actual days. BTW, thanks for selling that HOS 119 Hello Rick
  8. Business or actual days. BTW, thanks for selling that HOS 119
  9. Kudos to nikos for some nice books including a slabbed freebie.
  10. Yeah, you too for your fast payment. Now, where are my books?
  11. I know it's against my nature by kudos to stronguy for some nice Avengers. They'll look good in my collection.
  12. I agree--I actually have some Don Rosas from Bob that I've just sent to CGC (2 or 3 WWT books). I know Sid has had some success picking these up from Steve and getting decent 9.4 grades--which was the general cut off for Steve's submissions (he did sell a few 9.2s). However, if you take the DR books from this batch and hold them up to what Steve was selling, something just looks amiss. My opinion though--and I'm not pointing fingers anywhere---just an observation. Maybe Steve didn't send these in because of the QP issues. I can tell you that I did not see any of the BA horror raw and I was there right after Ewert in SD. Of course, it could have been part of the prescreen rejects that Steve said was going to be offered in Chicago. I'm sure that Bob Storms got a lot of the earlier HOM and HOS books from the prescreen pile. I can't see anyone else other than the Ewert/Brulato stock producing these books. They bought a whole long box at SD. So I think I dodge a bullet when I don't win the Ewert 9.8 B&TB 124 on ebay only to win this 9.6? I may need a new hobby. To clarify what I said above, when I said that I didn't see any of the BA Horror, I mean the copies that were just offered for sale. I still was able to get some nice BA horror but they were usually 9.2 max.
  13. Steve said that he did a 9.4 prescreen. However, there were some books with lower grade but those were usually the higher priced keys like the 8.5 Hulk 181 and HOS 92 and some of the harder to find books. Yeah, I have a hard time finding Hulk 181 and HOS 92... those were usually the higher priced keys

  16. Yeah, gotta give it up for greggy who's hooked me up with a few nice DC's (even though he's out on the west side )...the guy's got a teleport link with that post office and always above average grading and packaging.... How's the weather back east?
  17. Back cover is near perfect. Sweet book. What are you thinking 9.4/9.6? I didn't know it was a multipack book, maybe I'll be able to upgrade at some point if it turns out to be that plentiful. Do you know, were most of the early SSWS US issues in multipacks? Nah, like I mentioned previously, this book is most likely a 9.2. If the front cover was as nice as the back, we would be talking in the 9.6 or better range. I don't know if the others were in multipacks but this was an outer book along with 3 others. The other books were Witching Hour 9 (outer book), From Beyond the Unknown 5, and Showcase 91. The other books aren't as nice as the SSWS but all have nice white pages despite being stored in a crappy bag. The interesting part about this book is that it originally came from the "dentist", Dave Anderson. It was part of a large lot of multipacks that he "dumped". I had to buy this pack from the winner of the lot at a later date.
