  1. You're right, I'm not complete without your sloppy seconds. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to ebay to give you the feedback you TRULY deserve. Don't wait up. Rick PS: Metro has some nice books, but for the most part they're just a notch or two below Chuck & PGC on the price gouge-o-meter (nothing personal guys...just bizness). Sweet, my 700th feedback.
  2. Took me that long??? Not everyone lives on the boards (hint, hint). Please to point out my "mistakes" in my registry, and then which were originally raw and sent in by me (since you claimed to know)?? This is fun. Rick You love me You dump your mistakes and let Metro buy them and flip them on you.
  3. Sooo, you sent in a book 'cuz it was your only one...? THAT'S your criteria for sending in submissions? Yeah, and I'm the dork. You mean "undeserved" or "inflated" don't you? You're going back & forth: 1st it's badly graded, but then you claim you get "good grades"...make up your mind. You sound very unsure of yourself. And exactly which of my raw books that I've sent in for grading are you aware of ?? And after that, just which ones received "non-good" grades? You're slipping Rick Took you that long? Yeah, as I did want a graded set of the 100 pagers, I did send my then only copy in and got the sweet grade. Your registry set is rifled with your "mistakes"!
  4. Absolutely. Who wouldn't go for a better grade at the right price? You're a label chaser just like everyone else... Besides, if it wasn't an "acceptable" 9.6, you wouldn't have picked it up in the first place. duh Rick It was my only copy at that time dork. I sent it in for grading. Unlike you, I get good grades with my raw books.
  5. Should have bid higher for the Rosa 9.8 You think I normally upgrade to 9.8 IF I have an acceptable 9.6?
  6. I set up my PO Box today and changed my address with my CC company and all of the sudden, PAYPAL says my address is confirmed now. Guess, my home address wasn't good enough for them.
  7. I figured that about the vast majority of 100 pagers, but this book, DC-6 and DC-8 always sell well raw. I was pretty shocked this book didn't at least sell for VF guide. Isn't it one of the toughest in the whole set? They sell well when advertised as a raw "NM".
  8. loisandclark? To be honest, it doesn't surprise me. Even though some books are tough in grade, 100 pagers rarely sell well sub 9.4 and sometimes suck at 9.4.
  9. I've got the #38... You should've drunken more when the #5 was on Heritage recently (I personally thought it was a weak 9.4, not a 9.6 as graded by CGC) That was your book on CL? Nope...think it may have been comgeek's

  11. Thanks for your recent purchases! All three books should be at your door by next Wednesday!
  12. The reason why HOM 220 is so common Comes from this auction --> Link Although I have seen most of the multipacks, there are some that I haven't seen before. However, not the smartest way to sell them.
  13. It's probably the same one. It has a 3" and a 1" diagonal crease on the bottom left back corner. Otherwise it's a great copy, with exceptional gloss. I guess Donger got ripped on it, he said that the seller didn't disclose the creases and wouldn't take returns. Maybe you got off lucky? In any case, it's nice enough for me, but certainly won't win any prizes if it's ever slabbed. Yup, it's the same one. I recalled it having 2 creases on it. Too bad about the back cover because when I first received it, I was extremely happy...until I saw the back cover! It's much glossier and fresher than my personal copy. Yeah, the creases are pretty pronounced too. It's not like they barely break color. I am pretty forgiving when it comes to back cover defects though, especially when the front is as sharp as this one. The gloss is very nice and the colors are extremely bright. CGC would hammer it though. Did the seller advertise it as NM? I wonder how much Donger lost on the sale to me. Yeah, it was advertised as NM but there was only a small FC scan. I took a chance without asking for further scans due to his feedback but was disappointed. I was able to get a refund without problems and even got my shipping reimbursed. I think Donger may have gotten it from a relative of this guy. I bought a book from someone else and his last name was the same as the original seller. Yup, the BC wear shouldn't have been missed but who knows.

  15. Apologies for not giving kudos for past deals but... Kudos to goldust, nochips, and mr_highgrade for excellent recent transactions.
  16. Looks like the copy that I bought a while back but returned due to the creases on the back cover. Too bad because I recall that it being very glossy.
