  1. Well at least the quality is better this time around than last month. The previous issue had so many bindery tears, would be hard to get a 9.8 out of the bunch.
  2. Well that's a very broad statement, and thus incorrect. People are still looking to buy the Batman RRP
  3. Okay, good to know, atleast i picked up some regular # 3's, just in case.
  4. Either there was a partial shipment of # 3 to Midtown Comics today, or someone went out of their way to buy all the Tim Seeley variants, as there were none available. Plus they were low or sold out of the regular # 3
  5. Cover B is actually the hotter of the two. According to discussion in the Black Science thread the print run was originally supposed to be split evenly between the A and B covers, as it was for issue #1 (ignoring the variants), but apparently that went out the window and most retailers ended up getting shortchanged on cover B. So it has become an incentive variant of sorts. Of course nobody knows the number breakdown between the two covers, but cover B is definitely the lower printed of the two. Both are worth grabbing for cover though, as this book likely saw a significant drop in print number from issue 1 to issue 2 but reviews have brought demand back to it. The 2nd print for the first issue releases next week with the 2nd print for issue 2 releasing towards the end of January, I believe. +1 I have been picking up extra copies of 2 B at Midtown Comics, as most of the people selling #2 on Ebay are selling the A cover. I have noticed a lot of these books were damaged, took me a while to pick out 5 nice copies.
  6. Harley Quinn by far is one of biggest cosplay outfits at cons, so I would say very popular.
  7. Was that at the GC Midtown location or the Time Square one, or somewhere else? Times Square
  8. It's going to be tough getting a 9.8 out of number 2, didn't even bother to pick any up, all of them had bindery issues.
  9. After the two conventions on the 23rd and 24th, it will be two months before their next convention, plenty of time to make up ground.
  10. While all the people were out for Halloween, i walked up to Forbidden Planet and picked out 8 Betty covers out of the 12 they had left.
  11. I try not to get too excited about any movie any more. I find I enjoy them more that way. +1 We can't expect the movie to be like the comic, I like the Walking Dead even more now that the TV show doesn't follow the comic.
  12. Actually there were 400 made You sure herd it was only 200. Herd it from the guys at the Archie booth, it seem liked that had a lot of them at one point. I sold one to a girl waiting on line, she wanted Robert Hack to sign it.
  13. These two from Heroes are hard to find at NYCC And this one believe it or not from Midtown Comics.
  14. Nice meeting at the show Jay, and thanks for the doodles!
  15. I was thinking that too... Well I think maybe the NYCC variant as well. I hear numbers of 300, 350, and 500 I know it sold out the first day. The NYCC Variant was limited to 400 and sold out on Friday, today the only thing left were some single issues
  16. Got three of the NYCC Variant, actually had four, but sold one to a girl on the line waiting to get sigs, Have a set of Variants and # 1 signed by Franchesco and Roberto at the Con, the line was huge for the signing, this book is BIG with the fans.
  17. Francavilla is doing a signing tomorrow, which you need a ticket to get a signature, which I scored one. This is at NYCC.
  18. There will be plenty at the convention , thinking about getting a set signed, non SS
  19. From the signing at Forbidden Planet last night, from front to back Greg Rucka ( very personable guy), Joe Harris, Ales Kot and our own Frank Barbiere who moved at the last moment as I was leaving.
  20. I am just happy Frank and Chris didn't reprint the hell out of Five Ghosts, like East of West, Nowhere Men and Saga. Two reprints and done!
  21. Hey Frank is it okay to say that you will be signing October 7th at Forbidden Comics with Greg Rucka ( Lazarus ), and Alex Kot ( Zero ), for those that can't make it to the con.
  22. Still at Midtown , and no problem with damage, and great read! (thumbs u
