  1. P It’s more than fair to want to see the back cover before making an unequivocal commitment to purchase, especially of a book that size; however, while you’re waiting for it, if someone wants the book to the extent that they will unequivocally purchase without seeing the back cover (and do), it just means you weren’t able to buy the book.
  2. “I want it, but would like ‘INSERT WANT’ first” is the definition of a condition, in my opinion...
  3. One was a conditional offer, the other was an “I’ll take it!” You don’t have to use the emoji.
  4. Hello All, As I’m sure many of you have seen, there is an EBay listing for GG1 & 2, which has been on listed for several years now. Does anyone know the seller (and can speak to reputation) or have any insight as to the authenticity? Here is a link to the listing: https://www.ebay.com/itm/311802847922 . On a side note, if anyone has a graded set for sale, I would also be interested. Appreciate any trusted insights people may provide. Thank you!
  5. What are 9.2 Blues going for right now?
  6. I've had the pleasure of buying a couple books from this seller. A+ and thank you!
  7. Top notch! Thanks so much and can't wait to connect on another deal! Be wel!
  8. Great person to deal with... Thank you for the great transaction!
  9. Any book that's hand stapled and gets picked-up for a higher print run is a good bet in my book.
  10. Especially don't let your mother-in-law rip a cover of Action Comics #1 should you be so lucky to find a copy which was used as insulation in the wall of a house you're refurbishing, after finding yourself in a disbelief-driven tug-of-war with the found treasure. And, don't play tug-of-war with the comics, in general, a bad idea!
  11. Overstreet Guide to Grading is undoubtedly the single most important book I bought as a (beginning/&) collector... Amazing resource to truly understand grading, re. which 90% of people don't have a clue and, so, resort to a guess on grade from how pretty they think it looks and counting color breaks on the spine. Also, find the fun.
  12. Great person with whom to deal: smooth, quick and as expected. Thank you and look forward to the next time!
