  1. Looking at a bunch of images online, I can't find any legit copies where Iron Man's left foot isn't at least slightly cut off at the bottom. Also, the legit copies all have some paper space remaining to the right of the comic code stamp. The fake has his entire foot and even some rock under it and the comic code stamp is at the very right edge.
  2. My first thought was Mike coming in to get a list of who is aware of the situation and wanting to take action and then putting together a list of "do not sell" books. All others are fair game.
  3. I don't know if they still use them, but Microsoft used to use stickers on OEM PCs and XBOXs that would turn black when heat was applied. The damaged sticker would invalidate their warranty.
  4. I'll take TALES OF SUSPENSE #94 4.5/5.0 $50 Thank you!
  5. Dang @Jesse-Lee that took some commitment! I had only found 2 last night before I was going to go back to it tonight. @Paul (GG) © ® ™⚽️💙 Thanks for the cool contest and for putting all that work into that thread!
  6. I had totally forgotten about Revolution X. Me and a buddy of mine used to pump so many quarters into that machine! That would be another really cool cabinet to own. The 1up games are really cool but I still just can't get over the smaller size. Since I'll probably never get my hands on a KI cabinet I've decided my next Summer project is going to be a custom MAME cabinet.
  7. Killer Instinct! That's definitely in my top 3 arcade cabinets I'd like to own. Several years ago I had an old repurposed cabinet retrofitted with a KI board. I ended up taking the board/hard drive out and selling it on ebay and scrapped the cabinet. Wish I had that board back now; those things are expensive and I'd love to build that cabinet as a side project.
  8. I agree but it is against ebay rules to sell counterfeit items even when labeled as such so probably not the best venue to try to move this book.
  9. I've been having to log in every day for a while now but I'm now on day 3 of keeping signed in.
  10. That top edge on copy A actually bothers me more than the tear; makes it appear trimmed to me. I would agree with those saying to wait it out a bit and keep hunting. Especially if you can find a copy like Black_Adam or southern cross; man those are nice!
  11. I couldn't vote either using Chrome browsers but it did work with Microsoft Edge.
  12. They have those at Hobby Lobby, or at least the Hobby Lobby by me, if anyone here wants to check them out. They do look really cool in person!
  13. Yes, everything in NWOslave's post you will be able to do with either of the $29.95 options (either web based meaning your database is stored in the cloud or download meaning your database is stored on your computer). As was stated, you can get to your collection on your phone without paying for the app. I've always used the app myself and to me it's well worth the cost when visiting the LCS or shows. Now the one thing that would be separate would be the recently added Go Collect add-in IF you want current values for your books. Go Collect is still providing that service; Collectorz simply made a connector to their database.
  14. I think the only thing you lose is cloud sync. I've been using the desktop and iphone app for many years (lifetime license) and in all that time the only other purchase I've made was a one-month subscription so I would be able to download an update with a cosmetic feature I wanted. You can still add books, scrape all the info on them (including all new and upcoming books), and sync to your phone app.
  15. I have to see more games before I consider picking one up. While I'm sure they're great, I need more then Zelda 24, Mario 52, and Mario Kart 458. Zelda looks to be a game-changer for the series, I think this is the first Mario game that is a true follow-up to galaxy. There was a Super Mario Galaxy 2 though.... I didn't feel it captured the magic of the first which I devoted a lot of time to. I haven't seen clips from the Zelda game. Does it look that legit? OoT is one of my top 3 all time. Edit: The Zelda does look cool, but I really didn't like Skyward Sword. I'll wait for reviews before a I jump in. They are making a Wii U version too. Check out the side-by-side comparison videos. There's a noticeable difference but I don't think the Switch version is really that much better. If the game ends up to be a must play I'd rather just pick up a cheap used Wii U and play it. Only other Switch game that would be a must play for me would be a new Metroid.
  16. Watched it last night and my thoughts are spot on with yours. Although I think you'd be able to make a new drinking game: take a drink every time there is a shot of Margot Robbie's butt.
  17. Sweet. I was already planning on buying Battlefield when the price dropped but I may have to buy sooner than later. I know a lot of people got bored with Star Wars pretty early but it's still my go to game; I can't get enough of it.
  18. Very legit. I've heard a couple people say the gameplay is somewhat similar to Star Wars Battlefront. Would you guys agree (if you've played it)?
  19. I have heard of the MasterWorks" collection but I was under the impression it was not all inclusive. I have also seen them to be rather pricey. I tried wiKi but unlike alot of other comic titles it is really not giving me much information on where to find consecutive reprints. MW would be the most desirable thing I can find at this point. Does anyone know what would be the best electronic source? Or are there multiple options? Thanks. They go in and out of print. I put together the original run with an Epic collection and Masterworks and just got the Omnibus starting with GSX 1 / 94. You can also get some of the 94 issues on with Classic X-Men issues pretty cheap but there are alterations to those stories. Omnibus' can be annoying to read due the size. I prefer Masterworks due to this. I refuse to do electronic issues. Ahh yes, Classic X-men. I had forgotten about that as an option. Good thinking. I am not totally against reading it electronically. The problem I have is thus: I do not own a lap top. So that means sitting up in my chair at my desk through an entire 200 issue run. I am not aghast at the notion however it is somewhat foreign and would take some getting used to. But I gotta do what I gotta do. Thanks. Do you have a smart phone? I do most of my reading on my iphone. It takes a little getting used to scrolling through 1 panel at a time and sometimes you do have to zoom in a little if there is a lot going on in a larger panel but once you get used to it it's not bad at all. This is coming from someone who was saying less than a year ago I'd never go digital. Plus, I always have my phone on me so anytime I have a little spare time I can do a little reading. The thing is there is nothing like reading the original comic. Even a graphic novel falls short of that. The colors and the feel are totally different. I enjoy the comic medium. Short of the original the digital is not too far off. It seems the digital means is probably the easiest route and I deeply appreciate all of the feedback I have gotten . It will be thoroughly helpful and I am sure in the coming months I will complete my quest. I have for sure found what I am looking for. Thanks. 100% agree, especially with older books. I swore off digital before I even tried it because like you said it just isn't the same. But when I finally decided to give Marvel Unlimited a shot with their free (or maybe .99) month trial, I found myself reading way more. I was able to try out different series with no expense, was able to read old issues I can't really afford, and it was just so convenient. Digital hasn't slowed down my collecting, if anything it's done the opposite, but it has changed how I usually read my comics now.

  21. Also remember issues 67-93 were reprints so you can skip those.
  22. Depends on the show. Shows like Game of Thrones or The Walking Dead have too many spoilers to be able to binge watch. Plus big shows like that are something I look forward to watching each week. I do like binge watching other less talked about shows though. It's nice to have the entire story fresh in your mind and it's fun to find a show to watch where you're just like "okay, one more episode tonight." and then "okay, one more." That's how I like to read my comics too.
  23. Shipped same day as payment and immediately sent tracking number. Books looked great and were packaged very well. Can't ask any more from a seller!
