"Targeting a specific buyer cuz you know they want the book? Not OK."
This. There is a local dealer that I suspect was doing this to me a little over 10 years ago, even though I had been a loyal customer for many years. Once I wised up and figured out what was going on, I stopped doing business with this guy. I still see him at shows, but I look right through him like he's invisible. He's dead to me.

Yes! I've already paid for him, but I'm not sure when he actually ships. In the meantime, the "Little Giant Man" is a placeholder, but honestly, once the Haslab shows up, I have zero idea where I'm going to put it, so he may have to just go off on a shelf by himself somewhere.
I thought it could be used to represent him growing, kinda like in this image.

More new stuff has arrived .The Marvel Legends Giant-Man & The Wasp 2-pack is really nice. Several accessories and display options, I am really digging it. My classic Avengers lineup is getting pretty close to complete.
Also, these two grumpy little guys arrived. Brawn is great, but so happy to finally have Gears. He was one of the first figures I received as a kid, so I've always had a place in my heart for the little guy.
That Silver Age Wasp is awesome. Will you be getting the Haslab Giant-Man?

This is just a personal opinion but for the Tomax and Xamot that should have been a deluxe set. I know they did the one with Baroness but still. I remember when I was a kid and got them and thinking the packaging with the mirrors and such was amazing. I think this was a lost opportunity on Hasbro's part.
Agreed. And then they could have also included the zip-line thing the OG figures came with.

I generally steer clear of paperbacks, because I'm super picky about spine creases, but DC has been putting out some stuff I couldn't refuse. The Nightwing Compendium looks really nice, I"m just hoping I can actually read it without creasing that pretty spine. Also nice to have the Zatanna by Dini book back in print, and we're finally getting a comprehensive reprinting of the post-52 Booster Gold series. I had the first two hardcover collections of that run, but missed out on the trades that followed, so it will be nice to have the whole thing in a few chunky trades.
I haven't read them since they came out but I used to love that Nightwing series. I remember really disliking Scott McDaniel's artwork previously but then my opinion completely changed with his hyper-kinetic style on this series.

The glass though must have been issued before the end of 1960. From the top the heads pictured are those of Superman, Batman, the Flash, (a rather old-fashioned) Wonder Woman, Tomahawk, Crawford Crow and Judy from A Date with Judy the last issue of which was #79 cover dated November 1960. So the Johnny DC character must have been getting use somewhere before the end of 1962.
I see Judy is celebrating a redhead.

What bothers me is the awful color, bland lighting, timid brushwork, and boring composition. Of course, among modern comics, there is a wealth of bad to choose from.
To be fair, bad art is not limited to modern books.

Bid with confidence. The seller says it's in brand new condition and graded 9.8 by the professional graders at PGX. And since the seller has 0 feedback, I take that as "no news is good news".

As i see by your words on my topic about the Ebay mess, you quickly changed your mind on me as i said pastly on this topic, my love of comics doesnt necessary means that im a nice guy... and it seems that you discovered it by yourself ...
For what it's worth, I like your enthusiasm for comics and for DC. And I'm fond of the era of books that you collect since those are the books I was reading new as they were coming out. It's fun reading about you discovering them now, and I think it's important to have younger guys like you interested in our hobby.

I'd be curious to see who voted in each age group. I'll be 50 in November, for the record.
