Thanks to Shelton, Seth and the rest of the gang. Great show as always. Looking forward to 40 more years!

I'm not cool enough for those clubs. I'm just a comic dweeb
-
Club? When did this become a club? I wanna join the club. I like clubs!

I've been going to Shelton's Mini-Cons since I was a kid in the early '80s when they were held in a cramped room, down a weird cramped hallway in Eastland Mall. Eastland Mall has gone the way of the dodo, but the Mini-Con is going strong! See you all tomorrow.

Oh the suspense!

I really dig those George Olshevsky Marvel indexes from the 70s. If that price sticker on yours is what you paid, then I think you got a pretty sweet deal. Right on!
-
Congrats! Only four more, right?

If my ST 107 was that nice, I'd post a giant scan of it too!

lucky 7's!
Wow! Love that bright yella. My copy is completely dingy in comparison.

Mine isn't very hard to work out. My name is David so I have Cheech as my avatar, playing the part of Dave so that Chong can respond with "Dave's not here man."

I am seriously considering keeping all of my Kirby westerns.
While I am not a cover-oriented collector, I think Gunsmoke Western #66 is/will be a top-ten Marvel Western.
I had to look up that cover... and now I need to buy one!

So impressive. Congrats on the latest additions. Super cool of Jimjum too.

Love that cover.....always have. It's the first "true" rendition of the "rocky" Thing...... Roussos inking on that cover. GOD BLESS....
-jimbo(a friend of jesus)
true 'dat--the two greatest "rocky thing" covers...
Great covers on both and those are two very nice examples.

Ha! That's what I'm talking about! Thanks for posting that awesome group shot. Love it!

Nice!! You're down to only missing 82 to complete the Millie run, right?
Yeah down to a bakers dozen and also the Millie #82. The seller I got the #83 from also had a #82 ending at the same time....put a real strong bid on it.....AND LOST IT. Sold for 128 I think. There is another on eBay but it's missing a chunk of the cover.....I hate that defect. But I might throw a bid on it, cause I really see any for sale.
I know what you mean. Missing chunks bug me too, but in this case maybe it's worth filling the hole in the run and then upgrading later if/when a better copy comes along at the right price.
Either way, I'm anxiously awaiting the Millie the Model group shot

I had to leave Chicago on Saturday to drive back, so I didn't get my onsite books from WW until this past weekend when I could pick them up from my brother. I was very happy with how they graded out, and they'll all be very long term keepers.
