Bob Larkin Hulk paintings...

Something told me to set up that segue for you, Buzz. Nice books to you too. I think these action figure covers are cool. Wonder why the artist chose to give Snake Eyes his v1 action figure weapons instead of v2 though, especially since the "card art" shows him with his sword?

Thanks but I think I'll hang on to them. I've had these books for a long time so it was nice to finally get them graded even with the PLOD. I knew the AF15 had color touch and I've suspected that there was something weird going on with my Hulk for quite some time now.
And knowing is half the battle, as Roadblock used to say.

That small DC rack is boss, Robot Man!

You think the yellow labels are bad? You should see the purple ones!

Here's my copy.
That's a pretty 6.0. I'd be happy to have that one.

wow! Not only do you have it, but a damn nice one as well! thanks for showin' it off.
And I didn't realize so many of the "romance" annuals had the multi color logos. I never wanted 'em before because as you know, girls have cooties. Now that I'm older though...
Thanks bro! I just remembered Marines in Action #4 also had a multi color logo. I do not have a copy of that one.
Very interesting. Thanks for sharing the knowledge. I really had no idea that Marvel/Atlas had used the multi-colored logos as early as the mid '50s (MiA#4 came out in '55, if I'm not mistaken). Definitely had no idea that this treatment was used on non-Annuals either.

NICE! That's a handsome FF1 you got there mar-vell. You should be proud!

Hey I've got a Marvel Spotlight #5.
Here's mine.

I bought this in 1994 from an ad in the back of CBG. Don't remember who I got it from, but I remember sending a check for $225 and crossing my fingers until it showed up in the mail about 10 days later.
Excellent! Nice top-to-bottom cut, with blue showing under the bottom table
Thanks Vorpal. No quotes by the exclamation point though. I didn't realize how different the cuts on this book are until I started seeing all the different copies posted here.

Tracking down runs of the "Girls titles" is a lot of fun. A real challenge at times!
I first read titles as a different word.
Haha! I say Bronze age fan's statement is appropriate either way!

The red background on that 237 is stunning!

Somebody brought up the multi-colored logos on the early Marvel Annuals over in the Strange Tales thread. Sounded like a good time for a group shot. I'll let BronzeAgeFan post pics of the Millie the Model Annual
. Battle Front 37 also had a Multi color logo.
Great picture!!!
Ha! The great grand daddy of the multi colored logos! Is it safe to assume that's part of your vast archive? If so, let's see it!

Thanks Waylander!

Thanks. I was having fun last night playing with my funny books

Yeah, that's Nathan Drake from the Uncharted video games. Kinda sorta like a male Laura Croft (from Tomb Raider).
-
I think it looks really keen in the new slab. Kinda tempted to do the same with some of my raw books.

Thanks! Hard to tell with this iPhone photo, but I'd guess it's in the 3.0 neighborhood. Good enough for me.

Well after the 9.4s and 9.8s around here, let me lower the standards and present this. Gave Crazy Ed $20 for it in 1993

Here's mine.

Pretty darn great, since you asked. Bob Larkin is
I grew up with a Bob Larkin Hulk poster hanging on a wall in my bedroom. Always admired his Fireside book covers too.
