  1. Here's a nice high grade copy of the FM 1971 Yearbook. I'm putting this one up for sale. Check out the sales thread.
  2. I just listed another FM on the Gold-Silver-Bronze Age sales forum. It's a CGC slabbed/graded 8.5 copy of the FM 1971 YEARBOOK. Check it out at : http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=7364630#Post7364630
  3. Below are photos of the reason that I'm selling the FM #4 in my collection. As nice as it is, I have never seen a copy of FM #4 in the condition of the one that I just accidentally picked up a few days ago. If anyone is interested in my now secondary copy of FM #4 go to the following link: http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=7346019#Post7346019 [/img] [/img] [/img]
  4. I have just listed a GORGEOUS, PRISTINE copy of Famous Monsters of Filmland #7 in Golden-Bronze-Silver Age sales forum. Click on the following link to check it out: http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=7347687#Post7347687

  6. It's not the end of the world, but it's not desirable. The tanning is a sign that the cheap paper Warren used is in the process of self-destruction. I would suggest getting micro-chamber paper and putting it between the first page and cover, last page and cover, and in the center of the magazines. Then put each magazine on a Gerber acid free Fullback Board and seal it up in a Mylite2 magazine size sleeve. The sealed Mylite2 sleeve will last forever and protect the mag from outside forces of destruction. However, without the micro-chamber paper placed the way I described the paper will continue to self-destruct in its sealed tomb of Mylar. Micro-chamber paper absorbs the microscopic acids and self-destructive elements produced by the paper and will stop or severely slow down the self-destruction process. I hope this helps.
  7. I think we have a few wrestling/boxing fans here. With that in mind I am posting a copy of WRESTLING REVUE #1 that first hit the newsstands in 1959. I recently upgraded and am looking to sell the copy that was in my collection. I would conservatively give it an 8.5/VF+. However, in my opinion, you could make a case for a bit higher, 9,0/VF+ NM-. There is absolutely no spinroll. The spine itself is in pristine condition (see pics). There are no rips, tears, creases, water damage, clipped coupons, etc. This is a high grade copy of a very tough issue to find in any condition. I am asking $150 shipped. I will accept Paypal, postal money order or personal check. Thanks for checking it out! [/img] [/img] [/img] [/img]
  8. Being new I'm not sure how this works so I listed my item in the Golden/Silver/Bronze section and I'm giving you guys a heads up here since this is the comic magazine section. (I'm not sure if I put my item in the right sales section, but I'm sure someone will complain if I made a mistake.) I have a really nice copy of the first Warren publication ever - "AFTER HOURS" #1 published in 1957. This was Jim Warren's first attempt to break into the publishing business and his try at imitating Hugh Hefner! Warren was no Hugh Hefner and the magazine folded after 4 issues. This is the first issue. Go to the following link to view my offer: http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=7117045#Post7117045 Below is one photo of the front cover just to give you an idea of what it is. If that's not allowed I will take it off. Thanks! P.S. This is not a "lewd" magazine by any stretch of the imagination. In fact, I would not advise buying it if you are looking for "tittilation." Lingerie ads on today's billboards are more alluring!
