    What?

It is supposed to be a Qualified 5.0, as evidenced by the missing wrap notation being in ALL CAPS (which is only for Qualified grades.) There was a programming issue with these Character Labels from CGC in that the system was directing them to be printed out on Blue labels rather than Green, because the Character labels aren’t available for Green label Qualified books. This programming issue was fixed some time ago, but there are books like this still out there. Thankfully, the label still clearly indicates what is missing even if it’s not the color that CGC intended.
  2. That was my bad, as I misunderstood exactly what was being asked. Here is an answer to better answer the original question: Alan Scott and the rest of the Justice Society made a gradual reintroduction into DC's Silver Age. In FLASH #129, Alan Scott (with other members of the JSA) appears in a very quick flashback as Jay Garrick reminisces about them . They team members aren't physically present, though. In FLASH #137, the JSA physically appears for the 1st time in the Silver Age (appearing in several pages) where they decide to reform the JSA after having been in retirement. In JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA #21-22, the JSA returns as an ongoing part of the DC universe, and it begins their annual team-ups with the JLA. In SHOWCASE #55, Alan Scott appears in his first solo Silver Age appearance (apart from the JSA), though he is teamed-up with Doctor Fate and Hourman.
  3. The book in question was too low grade to Qualify. Since it was already low grade, the missing MVS was just factored into the grade. The missing stamp still gets mentioned on the label, however, but in lowercase letters, since it is not being Qualified. When a book is Qualified, the reason for it being Qualified will be on the label in ALL CAPS.
  4. Even before indicia and before cover logo- I believe the first time the X-Men were ever referred to as "The Uncanny X-Men" was the splash page of Giant-Size X-Men #1.
  5. The label text on the MMC #17 state that the cover is re-attached with tape. So, the cover *is* attached to the book, just not by the staples as it was when it was manufactured.
  6. Hey David! It's not really an "EC cover swipe", but simply "EC swipe". The reason is here:
  7. In the case of a clerical error like this, the owner has to pay for shipping initially, but will get reimbursed for the shipping after the package is received.
  8. The grade is fine. It's just that when it was entered into the computer system, the wrong "Fantastic Four #243" was selected.
  9. Yes, it's an error label. You can send it back to CGC and it will be fixed for free.
