I'm sure its been asked before but is CGC keeping a database for the copies they grade with M.J. inserts? At this point it must be getting extensive if they are.

I like this story from CBR.com " I opened up with, "We're now into early 1970. Conan the Barbarian #1 debuted in July of 1970. Originally, Roy Thomas asked John Buscema if he wanted to draw the new series. Buscema was ALL about it. But then Martin Goodman, Marvel's Publisher, said that they were going to deduct their licensing fee for Conan out of the production cost for the book. So Buscema would cost too much, so they used another artist we saw a little while back, Barry Smith, instead. So I think Thomas was thinking the introduction of Arkon was almost as this 'Sorry you couldn't draw Conan, so, well, here, draw Conan anyways!'" ............ Arkon was published in Avengers 75, 5/1970 and Conan 1 was published 10/1970.

Surprised there is no love for Conan 25? First John Buscema Artwork. Nobody more prolific on Conan /Savage Tales. He also drew the Conan Sunday and daily newspaper syndicated comic strip and some storyboards for the Conan 1982 Movie... and that's just some of his accomplishments.
