  1. A coveted Romance comic need neither be a Baker nor LB COLE to motivate / compel the viewer to own it. This is a prime example of such a captivating cover, which I have only seen once and here it is. TEN-STORY LOVE #3 (1952 ACE) - Artist unknown despite my research Grade: Fine Minus/Fine - Glossy, tight and fairly supple with cr/ow pages. Some foxing on the interiors and BC. That chip you see on the bottom edge of the BC is not a chip but a very small piece folded / flapped over (I did not try and push it down and it remains there now). FC presents higher-grade. Nice staples and nice spine. Interesting note about the panel art is there is a lot of dialogue in each panel. 100% complete with no restoration. Asking Price: $300.00
  2. Thank you ThothAmon. Winner on all 4 GGA comics! enjoy
  3. As a dear friend of mine would say when posting a special book...."I don't mind keeping this one." LOVERS #64 (1954 ATLAS) Classic gray-tone Colletta cover Grade: VF-/VF but with a press I suspect a true Near Mint Minus / NM copy Book is unreal / a freak. Feels like it came off the press today. Trace wear with just a bunch of non-color breaking bends and a slight spine roll on FC with a gorgeous BC. Super glossy, clean, tight with snow-white interior pages. Date stamp on top of cover. 100% complete with no restoration. Superb interior art here. Asking Price: $800.00 (a show and tell book)
  4. To quote the prior owner this is an "uber-rare" Canadian comic TRIUMP COMICS #9 (no date nor publisher given but it is circa 1950s - classic Al Feldstein Junior) Grade: GD/VG at least Very solid, supple, fairly glossy and tight. Book just has evenly distributed wear on both covers with a 1/2 inch top spine split. Some staining on back cover. A press and cleaning would help. 100% complete with no restoration. Asking Price: $------ SOLD
  5. Cannot have a GGA thread without a Baker DIARY SECRETS #13 (1952 ST. JOHNS) Classic Matt Baker cover - gray-tone Grade: VG Minus at least Front cover top section shows more wear near the title area with stains, color and paper loss. BC is nice with a small stain spot and thus buoys the grade call IMO. Bottom staple is detached from the FC but the rest of the staples remain tight throughout. Fairly nice spine with wear on both tips. Manufacturing bleed-through on interior of FC. The main GGA image area on the FC remains very glossy. This is a supple comic with close to white pages. 2 clean staples. 100% complete with no restoration. Asking Price on a HTF issue: $------- SOLD
  6. Next up... TRUE SECRETS #36 (1956 ATLAS) Grade: Fine Fantastic Colletta romance cover with superb interior art. Super glossy, tight, sharp copy with supple ow/w pages. Light general wear with light foxing on interior covers. A press will help the appearance due in-part to slight spine roll. Small light stain on top right corner area of BC. 100% complete with no restoration. Asking Price: $150.00
  7. DOGFACE & BRENDA SOLD PER PM Some more HTF classic GGA's to be listed this evening too
  8. Brenda Starr Vol2 No4 (Superior Comics (Canadian Pub), 1948) Grade: VG/FN due to a prior owner having drawn lines on the title otherwise higher grade Supple Off-White to White pages. Not only was this book used in Seduction of the Innocent, it has one of the all-time classic Jack Kamen art headlight covers. Seller's Notes: This is a very solid, glossy, supple and tight copy. "But for" the scribbling lines that a prior owner drew in the title BRENDA STARR (in pencil and than in red) this would certainly grade much higher. There is also some pencil markings in-between the two doctors. 2 tight staples are dull on the outside but tight throughout. Interior side covers and back cover have light foxing. This comic is 100% complete with no restoration whatsoever. ASKING PRICE: $350.00 SOLD
  9. Scarce classic GGA next MY PRIVATE LIFE #16 (FOX 1950) Grade: VG at minimum due to a small stain on BC and general overall wear. Looks and feels nicer. Glossy, tight, supple pages and solid with such a great cover. 100% complete with no restoration. Asking Price: $450.00

  11. next up.... Gunfighter #14 (EC, 1950) Johnny Craig bondage cover. Last issue of the series before the title changed to Haunt of Fear. Craig, Wally Wood, and Graham Ingels art. Classic cover. Grade GD+ to GD/VG Cover has a less than 1.5 inch tear that someone repaired with tape visible on the interior of the FC. Bottom staple is rusted. 2 long creases run parallel down book's FC. FC has edge wear with little tears and chips. Book remains glossy, tight and has supple ow pages. Nicer BC helps grade. 100% complete with no restoration other than that lone tape repair. Asking Price: $150.00
  12. next up is a pretty hilarious cover. I suspect it is uber rare since I have never seen this anywhere in all my GGA years of buying and selling. I think it is Australian from my research but I am not sure. circa 1950s but it has no date inside nor info on the publisher. A thin comic with all black and white panel art. LOVE ILLUSTRATED #39 (undated / publisher unknown - I believe it is circa 1950s) - if you have info on this book please share Grade: Fine It was manufactured with no staples. Tightly bound it contains 10 full single interior pages only (not including the covers). Glossy, supple and clean. BC has some creases that keep grade down. 100% complete with no restoration. Asking Price: $200.00 SOLD PER PM
  13. next up.... LOVE and MARRIAGE #8 (1953 Superior - a Canadian Publisher) Grade: VG/FN - Glossy, fairly tight with clean staples, sharp looking with supple ow/w pages. Small tears border each staple, which is visible on the interior, tear on top of 1st staple that goes into the M in the title on FC. A clean looking book with a slight spine roll too. 100% complete with no restoration. Asking Price: $----- SOLD

Foxing on both interior covers and lesser so on the BC. Very glossy, tight with supple OW pages. 100% complete with no restoration. Asking Price: $180.00 SOLD
  15. 4th up is another classic cover. Cow Puncher Comics #5 (Avon, 1949) Condition: Very Good due to the large moisture stain on the FC - presents higher grade. Trace rust on both tight staples. Glossy, tight, sharp with ow supple pages. A press would definitely help with the appearance at minimum. 100% complete with no restoration. Asking Price: $400.00
  16. 3rd up is a HTF PCH. What a classic colorful cover. Crime Mysteries #13 (Ribage Publishing, 1954) Condition: Fine Minus. Features Angelo Torres' first comic book work in the form of inking the artwork by Syd Check. Cover by A. C. Hollingsworth. Comic is 100% complete with no restoration. Very glossy, tight, sharp, solid example with very nice staples and ow/w supple interior pages. Color breaking crease on top right corner of FC. Seamless 1.5 inch tear on one of the CF interior pages (see photo). A press would help due to the way it was likely stored (light bends visible in interior). Foxing spot on interior side top edge of FC and a dash of a stain on the BC left edge. Asking Price: $500.00
