  1. 22 pages worth of commentary speaks to about 44 pages of people who didn't even comment. https://www.cgccomics.com/boards/topic/402171-is-mile-high-a-reference-to-their-prices/ Just received a new purchase from them of 5 books. Sent in the smaller flat rate envelope with 3 of the cardboard comic box dividers that have the tab to write on to indicate the comics. Looks like the packaged was dropped on the corner. Only paid $20 for the 5 books so it's not worth going back and forth with Mile High because it takes about two weeks to get a response. At the end of the day they usually blame it on USPS anyway, even though they are not packaged properly.
  2. I'm sure a lot have pre-sold enough to cover their costs. DC has not said if they are going to allow returns yet. If a retailer has pre-sold most of their variants and they can return the rest for a refund, they may actually do well. It's just going to be a headache for the ones who have people trying to cancel their pre-orders.
  3. Great seller, good packing and great deals! Recommended!
  4. LCS can get an exclusive variant with a different cover. The story is the exact same anywhere you shop.
  5. Batman is the New 52 #2 Jim Lee variant. Not sure about the others.
  6. Yea, that might be the most. The art wasn't unique for each one though. Just changed the words. Yea, there were 68 at the beginning of December. Batman 50 may be the most. https://www.bleedingcool.com/2014/12/11/all-the-star-wars-1-variant-covers-we-can-find-in-one-place-45-so-far-42-pictured-including-stan-sakai/
  7. Star Wars #1 Marvel reboot was about the same amount. I can't find the full list though.
  8. Seems to be on the decline and in two weeks it really will be. Shttps://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=iron+man+219&_sacat=0&LH_Sold=1&LH_Complete=1&rmvSB=true&_sop=13
  9. I assume DC got a nice payday from Wal Mart. It's not like they are selling a lot of comics. It depends how many times they restock, but there are 5 or less copies of each title on the first stocking. Times 3k stores, not a lot.
  10. The idea is based off the Infinity Gauntlet series. The movie reflects nothing of the sort. The Black Order is from the Infinity event, much later. Again, doesn't really have to do with the movie. The movie is it's own iteration. So, knowing what happens in the comics doesn't really help.
  11. What comic is the movie based on? There's an Infinity Gauntlet and Thanos, that's about it.
  12. Only 3k of the total 5k Wal Mart's are getting them. Some are saying maybe it's only the Supercenters.
  13. LOL, yea the reasons why the book is worth $x are "varied". You mean like anything that is ever purchased? So people buy things for different reasons? That is sound logic right there.
  14. Batman 457 is known as the first Tim Drake Robin. Obviously you don't agree with this or you would have mentioned it. But that's what the market thinks. It sells for $10 in high grade regularly. The others don't sell. So, this logic you were speaking of?
  15. There is no significance to Robin #1, thus nobody cares about it. Same with a superman. You're smarter than this.
